Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Mr. H. G. Miller was present requesting permission to erect a gospel tent at 12th Street and 2nd Avenue. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Murray, that the request be granted. Carried. .Trustee Bird arrives. .The question of repairing sidewalk at 8th Street and D Avenue was referred to the Superintendent of Streets. ,Certified copy of a Resolution adopted by the County Board of Supervisors regarding construction of road through National City was read and ordered filed. 213. ;RESOLUTION NO. 1299, Granting permission to the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County to assume full jurisdiction for the improvement of portions of Harbison Avenue and l6th Street in the City, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Petition of property owners requesting the Board of Trustees to grant permission to the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County to improve Harbison Avenue and 16th Street was read and ordered filed. .Bid of the San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Company for furnishing electric current for year ending July 31, 1929, for National City Lighting District No. 1, for the sum of $1303.20, was read and ordered filed. {RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1300, awarding the contract to San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Company for Lighting District No. 1 was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Communication fromPacific Cottonseed Products Corporation regarding condition of 6th Avenue was read,and referred to the Superintendent of Streets. RESOLUTION NO. 1301, Changing and establishing the grade of C Avenue from loth to 12th Streets was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,Estimate of City Engineer of work completed by Griffith Company for paving of strip on Streets and Avenues North of loth Street and East of 1st Avenue with Asphaltic concrete pavement, was read and ordered filed. ,RESOLUTION NO. 1322, Approving estimate of City Engineer and authorizing payment of 75% of work completed by Griffith Company for paving of strip on Streets and Avenues North of loth Street and East of 1st Avenue with Asphaltic concrete pavement, amounting to $12,479.04, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .ORTINANCE NO. , An Ordinance Fixing the Rate and Levying the Taxes for the fiscal year 1928-1929, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Murray, that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Board adjourn. Carried.
