Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Conmunicatiob.from the Planning Commission regarding master plan etc., read and ordered filed. *Communication from Robert Hart, regarding condition of Street at 1704 6th Avenue read and referred to Supt. of Sts. .Petition to pave Alleyd between 6th and loth Sts., A & B Avenues and B and C Avenues from 7th to loth Street was read and referred to City Engineer. -Petition to pave Second Street with Asphaltic concrete 222. from Hig hland to Laurel Avenues was read. .Report of the City Engineer on petition to pave Second Street from Highland to Laurel Avenues, recommending granting same, was read a nd ordered filed. •Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specfica tions for the pav- ing of Second Street from Highland to Laurel Avenue9 with Asphaltic concrete. Carri ed. .Petition to pave Alley between C and D Avenues and 8th and 9th Streets was read and referred to the City Engineer. • Petition of the Butterfield Construction Co., for an extension of 60 days time in which to complete contract for improvement of streets and avenues south of 13th Street, was read. ' RESOLUTION NO. 1328, granting Butterfield Constrution 6o., 60 days extension of time to complete contract was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. • Report of the City Engineer on petition for paving and sewer om First Avenue, 14th to 16th Streets, was read. ,Moved by Murray, seconded by Bird, that the City Engineer prepare p]ams and specificatonb for the paving of First Avenue, 14th to 16th Streets. Carried. . Report of the City Engineer on petition for paving A, B and C Avenues, between loth and 12th Streets, was read and ordered filed. •The Finance Committee reported arrangements had been made with L. S. Everts & Co., to audit Recorder's books. •Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the City Attorney have a search of records for ownership on D and P Avenues. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 'Report of the City Engineer on petition for paving alley from 6th to loth, and between B and C from 7th to loth and between C and D from 8th to 9th, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the City Engineer be instructed to 223. include the paving of alleys, with the sidewalk and curbs to be constructed on A, B and C Avenues. Carried. ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 551, fixing the compensation and its mode of payment of certain officers and employees, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, /that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. ,ORDINANCE NO. an Ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 540, fixing salary of City Marshal at $250.00 per month was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that it be intruduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. !RESOLUTION NO. 1329, Ordering final payment to Griffith Company under contract dated May 21, 1928, for paving portions Second and Fourth Streets and Laurel, P and D Avenues was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. !RESOLUTION NO. 1330, Authorizing payment of Bonded indebted- ness due September 15, 1928, amounting to $9,480 was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted, carried all Trustees present voting aye. .:RESOLUTION NO. 1331, Directing City Engineer to furnish diagram for paving and other improvement of Streets, Avenues and Alleys north of loth Street and East of First Avenue was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •RESOLUTION NO. 1332, Approving Diagram of City Engineer for paving Streets, Avenues and Alleys north of loth Street and east of First Avenue was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .RESOLUTION NO. 1333, Directing City Engineer to furnish Diagram for grading and other improvements of Streets and Avenues south of 13th Street and west of National Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried all Trustees voting aye. 224. ✓,RESOLUTION NO. 1334, Approving Diagram of City Engineer for grading and other improvement od Streets and Avenues south of 13th Street and west of National Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 1•RESOLUTION NO. 1335, Accepting deed of William M. Buckram and Wife for land for street purposes Fairmount Avenue was read. Moved by Murray, seconded Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. i•RESOLUTION NO. 1336, Aceepting deed of Tony Iverson and Wife for land for street purposes on 22nd street was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. t,RESOLUTION NO. 1337, Accepting deed of Board of Trustees Sweetwater Union High School District for land for street purposes on D Avenue was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the following transfers of funds from General Fund be made: to the Police Fund $500.00: to Engineering Fund $957.15 and to Sinking Fund No. 4, $$222.06, and that the Clerk and Treasurer make the necessary entries upon their records.
