Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to order
by the President. Trustees present - Addis, Bird, Cordingly,
Fritz and Murray.
Minutes of regular meeting of March 15, 1927, read and
approved.

to the Board of Supervisors of San Diego
County to Assume Full
Jurisdiction over a Proposed Public Way within the City Limits
of National City was read.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis,
that it be laid over until the next meeting.
Carried.

,Mr. Charles Stein was present requesting information as
to the width of F Avenue, and was informed that same was an
eighty foot street.
Communication from F. W. James requesting refund of
$25.00 deposited for removal of trees, was read and referred
to the Superintendent of Streets.
,Communication from the Kiwanis Club requesting that they
be given control of the Boy Scout house and its enlargement
now located in the City Park was read. Moved by Bird, seconded
by Cordingly, that the request be allowed. Carried.
,Petition of Irwin & Company to remove three trees in
front of their premises at 404 National Avenue was read.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis, that the petition be
granted. Carried.
,Petition of property owners on Second Street between
Highland and Laurel Avenues that the necessary steps be taken
to install concrete sidewalks was read and referred to the
City Engineer.
.Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for quarter
ending March 31, 1927, were presented and laid over.
,Report of the Recorder showing fines collected for the
month of MArch 1927 amounting to $1284.00 was presented and
ordered filed.
.Petition of Citizens asking that a special election
be called for the purpose of annexing to San Diego, was
presented. Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis, that the petition
be referred to the City Clerk for the purpose of checking sig-
natures. Carried.
.The Planning Commission recommended that steps be taken
to remove signs, etc. and clean streets in the business district.
,Bond of W. H. Morton, Master Plumber, was presented.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the Bond be approved,
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.

.ORDINANCE NO.
Amending Ordinance No. 367,
Providing for the Licensing of Laundries and Dyeing Estab-
lishments was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird,
that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and
according to law. Carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 1109, Accepting Deed of Duward S. &
Hulda J.Rogers for land for street purposes was read. Moved
by Addis, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1110, Rescinding and Repealing Resolution
No. 1104 for the improvement of portions of D Avenue and Eighteenth
Street was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis, that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
RESOLUTION NO. 1111, Rescinding and Repealing Resolution
of Intention No. 1105 for the improvement of portions of D
Avenue and Eighteenth Street was read. Moved by Bird, seconded
by Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried by the
following vote: Ayes- Trustees Addis, Bird, Fritz, Murray;
Noe -Trustee Cordingly.
RESOLUTION NO. 1112, Establishing the grade of Division
Street from the Easterly line of Second Avenue to the Westerly
line of National Avenue was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by
Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
✓,RESOLUTION NO. 1113, Establishing the grade of Main
Street from the Northerly line of Division Street to the
Westerly line of National Avenue was read. Moved by Addis,
seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
",RESOLUTION NO. 1114, Establishing the grade of Sixth
Street from the Easterly line of Ii Avenue to the Westerly
line of M Avenue was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by
Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
63.
,Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the sum of
$106.80 be transferred from Sinking Fund No. 1 to the
General Fund and that the proper officers make the necessary
entries upon their records. Carried.
,Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the office
of City Attorney be declared vacant. Lost by the following
vote: Ayes -Trustees Bird and Cordingly; Noes -Trustees Addis,
Fritz and Murray.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
