Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to order
by the President. Trustees present- Bird, Cordingly and Murray.
Trustees Addis and Fritz absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of Feb. 1, 1927, read and
approved.
The following bills, audited by a majority of the Finance

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
.Resolution No. Consenting to, and Granting Permission
to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to Assume
Full Jurisdiction Over a Proposed Public Way, Insofar as the
Same Lies Within the City of National City, was read. Moved by
Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that it be referred to the City
Engineer. Carried.

-Mr. Hengora was present and requested permission to trim
three trees at 5th Avenue and 18th Street. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Bird, that the request be granted. Carried.
,Communication from the Sweetwater Water Corporation re-
questing that the grade be established on Lanoitan Avenue between
16th and 24th Streets was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by
Bird, that it be referred to the City Engineer. Carried.
'.Communication from San Diego Securities Company regarding
the opening of L Avenue between 24th and 30th Streets was read
and ordered filed.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the City Clerk
and City Engineer be instructed to communicate with the San Diego
& Arizona Railway Company regarding the opening of L Avenue be-
tween 24th and 26th Streets. Carried.
,Communication from S. T. Blood requesting refund of $5.00-
deposited for the removal of a tree was read and referred to the
Superintendent of Streets.
.Membership card from the Pacific Coast Building Officials
Conference was presented and ordered filed.
,Petition of property owners to pave Highland Avenue from
North to South city limits was read and referred to the City
Engineer.
.Petition of property owners to pave G Avenue from 2nd to
8th Streets was read and referred to the City Engineer.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1096, Establishing the Grade on Portions
of 12th, 13th and 15th Streets, and I, J and Highland Avenues,
was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
✓,RESOLUTION NO. 1097, Adopting Plat of District for grading
and other improvement of 12th, 13th and 15th Streets and I, J
and Highland Avenues, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by
Cordingly, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.

improvement of 12th, 13th and 15th Streets, and I, J and Highland
Avenues, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that
the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
