Carried, all Trustees pres- ent voting aye. .Communication from the Lincoln Acres improvement Club re- garding the condition of Van Ness Avenue was read and ordered filed. .Communication from the Lincoln Acres Improvement Club re- garding traffic danger at the Lincoln Acres School was read and the City Clerk was instructed to write them stating that as the school is not in the City, It will be necessary f0: them to take 45. the matter up „ith the County Loard of Supervisors. ,Petition of William Brant for a free license to peddle fruit and vegetables was read and referred to Trustee Cordin`ly. .Petition of J. A. Fritz for refund of $ 5.00 deposit for the removal of trees vas read tna rcferroc: to the Superintendent of Streets. .Petition of R. L. Amos for an increase of salary was read and referred to the Fire Committee. ,Petition of J. P. Tyson to top trees in front of hLs proper- ty on Fourth Street was read. Moved by Frig;, seconded by Bird that the petition be granted. Carried, all Trustees present voting ave. •The Finance Committee reporter' chat they vvould not recommend the installation of a Street light at Lanoitan Avenue and Eight- eenth Street. Carried. .RESOLUTION I4O. 1091 accepting deed of C. and Mary P. Corey for lands for street- purposes was read. Moved by bird, seconded by Addis that tne R solut1on be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,RESOLUTION NO. 1092 accepting, deed of Theodore F. and Marian G. Johnson for lands for alley purposes through Block 112 was read.
