Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to order
by the President. Trustees present- Addis, B1fl, Cordingly,
Fritz and Murray.
Minutes of regular meeting of Feb. 15, 1927, read and
approved.
The following bills, audited by the Finance Committee,

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
1.RESOLUTION N0. 1099, Consenting to and Granting Permission
to the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County to
Jurisdiction over a Proposed Public Way insofar as
within the City of National City, was read. Moved
seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted.

,Petitions of A. H. Alley and C. E. Hoover to be appointed
Deputy City Marshals without pay were read and referred to the
Police Committee.
,Petition of property owners to grade and pave the Alley
adjoining Lots 1 to 11 and 46 in Block 1, Flemings Subdivision
in * Section 155, was read and referred to the City Engineer.
.Petition of Geo. Cary to move gasoline pump across the
street on 7th Avenue was read and referred to the Fire Committee.
Petition of property owners to have 20th Street from High-
land Avenue to L Avenue opened, graded and curbed, was read and
referred to the City Engineer.
'Petition of C. B. Ireland, City Engineer, for an increase
of $50.00 per month in salary was read and referred to the Finance
Committee.
4Petition of B. W. Servatius, Street Superintendent, for an
increase of $50.00 per month in salary was read and referred to
the Finance Committee.
Report of the Recorder for month of February 1927, showing
fines collected amounting to $1,398.00, was presented and ordered
filed.
,Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the proper offi-
cers draw a warrant on the General Fund in favor of S. T. Blood
for $5.00, being refund of deposit for removal of tree. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
.The Police Committee recommended transfer of Pool Hall License
at 1826 6th Avenue to W. B. Becker. Moved by Addis, seconded by
Fritz, that the Pool Hall License in the name of C. W. Dickinson
be transfered to W. B. Becker. Carried.
.The Police and Fire Committees, to whom petitions for increase
of salaries were referred, referred the same back to the Board
without any recommendations.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the matter of
increase of salaries be referred to the Finance Committee, Carried.

.The Planning Commission, to whom were referred the
petitions to narrow I, K, and L Avenues, recommended that
they be retained as eighty foot streets. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Bird, that the recommendation of the Planning
Commission be accepted. Carried.
.Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the petitions
for narrowing various streets be denied. Carried.
✓RESOLUTION N0. 1100, Fixing the Bond of the San Diego
Consolidated Gas & Electric Company and Authorizing the Presi-
dent of the Board of Trustees and the City Clerk to enter into
a contract with them for furnishing of electric current and the
maintaining of posts, wires, etc., was read. Moved by Bird,
seconded by Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
.Bond of S. F. Anderson, Master Plumber, was presented.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the bond be approved,
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
✓,RESOLUTION NO. 1101, Changing -and Establishing the Grade
of D Avenue from the Southerly line of loth Street to the North-
erly line of 18th Street, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by
Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
',RESOLUTION N0. 1102, Directing the Clerk to Advertise
for Bids for Sale of $60,000.00 worth of Paving Bonds, was read.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that the Board adjourn.
Carried.
