Trustees present --Bird, Cordinglv, Fritz and Murray. Addis absent. Minutes of regular meeting of December 7, 1926, and special meeting of December 15, 1926, read and approved. Carried, all `trustees present voting aye. ,Proposal of Russell Sutherlin & Company to purchase the S180, 000.00 street improv=monr bonds -{,as read and ordered filed. ,The matter of plumbing in the Recorder's Court and Marshal's Office was referred to the Finance Committee. ,Petition of business men requesting that license be placed upon certain Laciness was road and referred to the Finance Com- mittee.and City Clerk to report on at the next meeting. ,Petition. of L. J. aide for an increase of 5$25.00 per month in:salar^y was read and referred to the Police Committee. ,Report of the City Engineer on the petition to have I Avenue made sixty feet in width from Eighteenth to Twenty-fourth Streets was read and laid over to the next meeting. ,Report of the City Engineer on petition to have K Avenue made si ;ty feet in width between Eighteenth and T',enty-fourth Streets was road and laid ovsr to the next meeting. 39. ,Tne Fire Committee recommended that a fire plug be install- ed at Eighth Avenue and First Street, also one at Eighth Street and P Avenue. .Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly th t a fire hydrant be installed at Eignth Avenue and First Street. also one at Eighth Street and P Avenue. Carried, all Trusties present voting aye. ,Tn_e Finonce Committee given further time regarding street light at Tenth Street and B Avenue. Street Committee given further time regarding work on Eight- eenth Street and Granger Avenue. ORDINANCE;NO. , Amending Section 1 of Ordinzn'e No. 562 Limiting the Tine for Yarling on Cox t tin Str, cts and Avenues was read. Moved by Biro, seconded by CordinCy Nest it be introduced and laic over ander the rules and according to law. Carried. ORDI'1ANCE NO. Providing for the Issuance of $180,000.00 street improvement bonds was read. hoved by Bird. seconded by Fritz that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. .Moved by Bi!d, seconded by Cordingly that a warrant be drawn on the General Fund in favor of PCs. Sadie Miller for :}?17.20 account of error on assessment roll.
