Petition of S. L. Ely to trim trees in front of lots 17 to
20, block 176, also to trim trees along blocks 177 to 179 was
read. loved by Addis, seconded by Bird that the petition be
granted to trim trees in front of 17 to 20, block 176. Carried.
,Petitions of Walter Kadnell and J. Mendez to trim trees
were read and referred to the Street Superintendent.
,Petition of C. Fred Lee to install gasoline tank between
sidewalk and curb at corner of 8th Street and `ignland Avenue
Was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly that the peti—
tion be granted. Carried.
,Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the

quarter ending December 31, 1925, presented and ordered filed.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis that the President of
the Board of Trtstees and the City Clerk be authorized to draw
a warrant on the Street Itprovement Fund in favor of the Gil—
more Oil Company for the sum of S645.75, beir:- balance due them
for the oil and rock dust surface on certain streets. Carried,

ing, etc. in Library was read. .Loved by Bird, seconded by Cord-
ingly that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
.ORDFIPPTCE NO. 560, providing for boulevard stops on Main
Street, National Avenue, and Highland Avenue was placed on fin-
al passage and on motion by Addis, seconded by Bird same was
adopted, all Trustees rresent voting aye.
'Report of the City Engineer on bids for the having of
Seventh Strut from First to K Avenue, recommending the accept-
ance of the bid of the Griffith Company was read and oraered
filed.
PESOLTJTION Or A`ARD NO. 1032, arardins contract for the
paving of Seventh Street from First to K Avenue to the Griffith
Company was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
'Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird that the Resolution of
Award for the pavin:= of Seventh Street from First to K Avenue
be approved. Carried, all Trustees present votin_, aye.
,Petition of Ella Ernst, accompanied by a deposit of el5.00
for the removal of three eucalyptus trees on Eighteenth Street,
west of - N_ Avenge, also to grade the sidewalk in front of
this property was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly
that the petition be granted, work to be done under the super-

iMoved by Addis, seconded Fritz that the patent and lic-
ense agreement of the '.Tert:r.ghouse Electric and 'Lanufacturing
Company, the General Electric Company, and the Union _Metal
ranuficturing Company pertaining to the ornamental street light-
ing system on portions of National Avenue and Eighth Street,be
and the same are hereby accepted and ordered filed. Carried.

Fritz, seconded by Bird th•it the Besol•tion be adopted. Car-

by Bird, seconded by Fritz that the Resolution be adopted. Car-
ried, all Trustees present voting aye.

ision wac read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird that the Res-
olution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
,Bond of S. F. Anderson, Master Plumber, was presented.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis that the bond be approved,
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
'Moved by Addle, seconded by Fritz that the Street Depart-
ment be instructed to install drain at Eighth Street:and High-
land Avenue, Seventh T-reet and National Avenue, and remove1ths
drain on Seventh Street. Carried.
Moved by Cordin=ly, seconded by Addis that the Board adjourn.
