Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to order
by the President. Trustees present --Addis, Bird, Cordingly,
Fritz, and Murray.
Minutes of the regular meeting of March 2, 1926, read
and approved.
The following bills audited by a majority of the Finance
Committee, presented:

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
.Communication from Glen D. Tiffany requesting refund of
$15.00 deposit for the removal of trees was read and referred
to the Street Superintendent.
.The City Marshall reported that there was an open well be-
tween Fifth and Sixth Streets and L and M Avenues. Sames was
referred to the Street Department.
,The Fire Committee requested further time regarding the
hydrant at Thirteenth Street and First Avenue.
The City Engineer reported that he believed that he could

secure a Deed from the Paradise Valley Sanitarium for thirty
feet for street purposes between Fourth and Eighth Streets,
provided the westerly side was closed in order to make a sixty
foot street.
-RESOLUTION NO. 1037, Ordering Work of installing ornament-
al lights on portions of National Avenue and Eighth Street was
read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
•RESOLUTION NO. 1038, Adopting Plat of District for the
paving and other improvement of Eighth Street from A to K Avenues
was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz that the Resolution
be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
- RESOLUTION NO. 1039 OF INTENTION to pave Eighth Street from
A to K Avenues was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis that
the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
•The Street Superintendent reported that the trees removed
be John R. Rago had been replaced.
• Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly that the proper
officers draw a warrant in favor of Louis Nieman for $5.00,
also John R. Rago for $15.00, being refund of deposit for re-
moval of trees. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
.RESOLUTION NO. 1040, authorizing the payment of bonded
in-
debtedness due March 15, 1926, amounting to $3840.00 was read.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1041, accepting Deed by Ed Willoughby and
wife, and D. E. Lozier and wife to portion of ten acre lot 4,
Quarter Section 153, for street purposes was read. Moved by
Fritz, seconded by Addis that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
• RESOLUTION NO. 1042, appointing a Deputy City Assessor was
read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis that the Resolution
be adopted. Carried, al] Trustees present voting aye.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1043, approving Map of Iriortz and Saunders
Subdivision in Quarter Section 108 was read. Moved by Addis,

seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
,Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz that Mr. Emmett
and Mr. Stevens be allowed to pave the south half of Seventh
Street for a distance of 165 feet and the north half a dis-
tance of 125 feet from the easterly line of K Avenue, with
oil macadam paving 32 inches thick, work to be done under the
supervision of the City Engineer and the Superintendent of
Streets. Carried.
.The matter of grading Lanoitan Avenue from 16th to 18th
Streets was referred to the City Engineer.
.Mr. George W. Hiler present complaining about being dis-
turbed by roosters crowing. Same was referred to the City
Marshall.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz that Frank Cordingly be
appointed inspector for cement work in contract of H. G. Fen-
ton. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
