and warrants oraered drawn for same. Carrred, all Trustees pres-
ent voting eye.

avenues south of 13th Street and west of National Avenue graded,
sidewall:ed and curbed erns reed and referred to the City Engineer.

.Report of the Recorder for the month of September, 1926,
showing fines collected amounting to $1884.00 „_s presented and
ordered filed.
.Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the Quar-
ter ending Sente,lber 30, 1926 were presented and ordered filed.
.The Street Superintendent reported the trees removed by
August Schoening had been replaced. Moved by Bird, seconded by
Addis that a warrant for $15.00 drawn on the General Fund be
issued to Fir. and Mrs. August Schoenini; for refund on deposit
for removal of trees. Carrier:, all Trustees present voting awe.
.Police Department has no report to make regarding revoking
pool license at 1820 Sixth Avenue.
.The Finance Committee given further time regarding the audit
of the books.
.Street Department given more time regarding bridge at Eighth
Street and 0 Avenue.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis that the City Attorney tie
instructed to amp.. nd Ordinance No. 562 regarding; parking space on
National Avenue. Carried.
.RESOLUTION NO. 1071 confirming the En;ineer's assessment for
lighting portions of National Avenue and Eighth Street was read.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly that the Resolution be adopt-
ed. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly that the City Clerk be
instructed to furnish The National City News a copy of t._e proceed-
ings of the regular meetings. Carried.
.Bond of William H. Murray, master plumber, was presented.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly that the bond bo approved,
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
.RESOLUTION NO. 1072 accepting deeds from Elma M. Isbell, Val-
gerdur Eiriksdottir, Inez C. Everett, Albert and Enos Dalton,
Cicero P. and Alice L. Evans, L. E. C. and Ada R. Srith, and Hugo,
Elizabeth and Paul G. Schutte for land for street purposes was
read. I7:oveL by End, seconded by Fritz that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.

.RESOLUTION NO. 1073 instructing the City Engineer to pre-
pare an estimate of the cost of paving certain streets and Ave-
nues 'vas read. Idoved by Bird, seconded by Addis that the Reso-
lution be adopted. Carried, all Trustee•, present voting aye.
.Estimate of the City Engineer for the paving of certain
streets and avenues showin cost of '0,80,000.00 was read. Moved
by Bird, seconded oy Fritz that the report of the City Engineer
be accepted. Carried.
.RESOLUTION MO.1074, declaring and determining that the
public interest and necessity of the City of Potional City, Calif-
ornia, demand the ac0u1Git"ton, construction and completion of a
certain municipal inprove:nent necessary and convenient to carry
out the objects, purposes and powers of the iunici._rality, the cost
of which Till be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual
income and revenue of the Tunicapa]ity, and reciting the estimated
cost of the pi oposed public improvement aas read. Moved by Bird.,
seconded by Fritz that the Resolution be adopted. Carried by the
following, vote: Ayes --Trustees Addis, Bird, Fritz and Murray.

the San Diego Union for advertising in the Union Annual be not
accepted. Carried.
.The Planning Co:ol ission reconvnended to the Board of Trustees
that th;, continuation of llth Avenue eighty feet wide southerly
across the forty acre lease of 11r. Dlackman be reserved before
the extension of said lease be granted.
.Idoved by Bird, 3ecocded by Fritz that an extension of thirty
years be Granted on the north twenty acres of the north Forty
acres now held by Mr. Blackman, providing terns of said extension
be satisfactorily agreed upon. Cairied by the following, vote:
Ayes --Trustees Bird, Coraingly and Fritz. Nays--Trustees Addis
and Murray.

lution be adootad. :lotion loss by the folloting vote: Ayes --
Trustee Bird. Nays —Trustees Addis, Cordingly, Fritz and
Murray.
.Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that the City Encineer be
instructed to give an ostiniate of the cost of surfacing, the
streets recently graded west of National Avenue. Carried.
