Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees
called to order
by the President. Trustees present- Addis, Bird, Cordingly,
Fritz and Murray.
Minutes of regular meeting of March 3, 1925, read and
approved.

Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
.Communication from J. W. Dawson regarding direct route
south to National City from East San Diego was read and referred
to the City Engineer.
.The City Marshal was instructed to return the key to
office on East 8th Street.

.Moved by Addis, seconded by Cordingly, that the City
Engineer be instructed to have the toilets in the City Hall
changed, also to purchase counter from the Masonic Temple
Association, and have came installed. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
,It now being the hour set for hearing of protest against
closing of Nineteenth Street from D to E Avenues, and after
considerable discussion, it was moved by Bird, seconded by
Addis, that the hearing be continued to the next meeting.
Carried.
,Trustee Cordingly was requested to take up the matter
of water main to supply the_people affected by the closing of
Ninteenth Street from D to E Avenues with the Sweetwater Water
Corporation.
;'ORDINANCE NO. 550, Prescribing Conditions, etc. for the
Laying Out of Subdivisions of Lands was placed on final pas-
sage, and on motion by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, same ad-
opted, all Trustees present voting aye.
.Deeds of Charles & Louise R. Kibler and L. E. and
Jennette Spicer for portions of Section 129 for street
purposes were presented. -
tESOLUTION NO. 982, Accepting Deeds for street pur-
poses from Kibler and Spicer was read. Moved by Cordingly;
seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
•PFSOLUTIOM NO. , Granting Franchise to The
Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company for a track
on portions of Ninth Avenue was read. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Fritz, that it be introduced and laid over under
the rules and according to law. Carried.
tPESOLUTION NO. 983, Authorizing Payment of Bonded
Indebtedness due Match 15, 1925, amounting to $4020.00, was
read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis, that the Resolution
15E.

be adopted. Carried, all Trustees preoent voting aye.
-ORDINANCE NO. , Amending Section 3 of Ordinance
No. 540 and Fixing Salary of City Marshal was read. Moved
by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that it be introduced and laid
over under the rules and according to law. Carried.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the City
Attorney be instructed to amend the Fire Limit Ordinance
by extending the limits from Fourth to Thirteenth Streets.
Carried.
,Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, that the City
Engineer notify the Potter Radiator Corporation that he has
been instructed to start proceedings for the grading of Sixth
Avenue. Carried.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
