Trustees present- Addict, Bird, Cordingly, Fritz and Murray. Minutes of regular meeting of April 21, 1925, read and app roved. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that the petition be granted. Uarried. .Petition of Sweetwater Water Corporation to have 9th Street paved from National To First Avenues was read and ordered filed. 'Petition of property owners to have 8th Street paved with Macadam and Asphaltum, from A to K Avenues, was read and ordered filed. ,Protest of property owners against the paving of 8th Street was read and ordered filed. •Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird, that the petitions of L. L. Southwick, John H. Curry and John Shelton, to remove trees, filed April 21, 1925, be granted. Carried. .Report of the Recorder for the Month of April 1925 was presented and ordered filed. ,Moved by Addis, seconded by Cordingly, that the proposition of paving 8th Street from A to K Avenues be laid over for re- consideration at next meeting. Carried. •Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Adele, that the City Eng- ineer prepare plans and specifications for paving 8th and 9th Streets, from west line of National Avenue to the East line First Avenue, with concrete. Carried. ,Mr. Exon asked permission to trim trees in front of his property, 1929 4th Avenue. Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis, that the request be granted. Carried. .RESOLUTION NO. 989 authorizing the payment of bonded in- debtedness due May 1, 1925, amounting to 6375.00 was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried all Trustees present voting aye. .ORDINANCE NO. repealing Ordinance No. 536, and consolidating the offices of Fire Marshal and Inspector of Electricity and amending Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 462, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded b$ Bird that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. 168. 4 r • • Carried. 'RESOLUTION NO. 990, repealing Resolution No. 874 and appointing B. E. Diffenbaugh Deputy Fire Marshal and fixing salary at $125.00 per month was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,Petition of Ray F. Pommier to remove one tree in front of his property on llth Street between First and Second Aves. was read. Moved by Bird, Seconded by Cordingly, that the pet- ition be granted. Carried.
