,Commur_icetior from the Auto Club of Southern California
regarding eigr, posting, warning signs, etc., was read and re-
ferred to the Police Department.
,Petition of Homeland Building Company to move underground
gasoline tank and pump from Fighth`»Street to A. Avenue near
their scales, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Addis that
the Petiticn be granted, work to be done under the Supervieior_ of
the Fire Marehall. Carried.
Petition of property owners to have Firet Avenue paved from
the South pavement on 13th Street to the North line of 14th St.,
was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the City Engin-
eer be instructed to include thie with the paving already author-
ized on Faret Avenue. Carried.
,Petition_ of Francis X. Morrow, accompanied by deposit of $15
to remove three large trees on the West eide of F. Avenue between
4th and 5th Streete, was read. Moved by Bird, and seconded by
Addis that the petition be granted. Carried.
,Petition of property owners to have the Alley between E. and
F. Avenuee and 4th ar•d 5th Streete graded, was read and referred
to the City Engineer.
Petition of Citizene for a street light or Division Street,
between E. and D. Avenuee, was read, and referred to the Finance
Committee.

Petition cf Citizene to have a Fire Hydrant ir_etal]ed at the
Southeast corner of 6th St. and C. Avenue was read and referred
to the Fire Committee.
Petition of Chris Nikkelson for the exclusive right to col-
lect garbage and rubbash within the City was read. Moved by Bird,
seconded by Addis that the City Attorney be inetructed to draw up
the necessary papers. Carried.
,Petition of property owners on 7th St. requesting that that
Street be paved with five -inch asphaltic concrete paving, instead
of five inches of cement was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by
Addis that the City Engineer be inetructed to prepare plans and

specificatione for the paving of 7th St. from First to K. Avenuee
with five -inch aspha.tic concrete. Carried.
,Report of the City Recorder for the month of October, 1925,
showing fines collected amounting to $2657.45, was read and order-
ed filed.
,Report of the City Engineer and Street Superintendent accept-
ing work for the installation of Storm Drain of 4th St. from the
Westerly line of 4th Avenue to the Westerly line of 3rd Avenue was
read and ordered filed.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz that the President of the
Boarf, and City Clerk be authorized to draw a warrant on the Gen-
eral Fund in favor of J. T. Broderick for the eum of $756.00,
amount now due him for installing storm drain on 4th Street the
Westerly line of First Avenue to the Westerly line of 3rd Avenue.
Carried, ali Trustees preeent voting aye.
.ORDIFPN CE NO. 557, Providing a system for aeseseing, levying
and collecting taxee, wae placed on final passage, and on motion
by Bird, seconded by Fritz, same wae adopted, all Trusteee pree-
ent voting aye.
,RESOTUTION NO. 1018, accepting map of Jennie M. Hobson Sub-
division, wae read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, ali Trusteee present voting aye.
RESOTLTTION NO. 1019, authorizing payment of Bonded Indebted-
ness due November 1, 1925, amounting to $1875.00, was read. Moved
by Bird, eeconded by Fritz that the Resolution be adopted. Carr-
ied, all Trueteee rreeent voting aye.
