Trustees present- Addis, Bird, Cordingly, Fritz and Murray. Minutes of regular adjourned meeting of September 10, 1925, read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Report of the City Engineer regarding the petition for paving of Sixth Street'from the Easterly line of First Avenue to the Westerly line of K Avenue was read and ordered filed. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that a 60 C.P. street light be installed at Tenth Street and Second Avenue. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. °RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1002, Awarding Contract to J.T.Broderick for construction of a 24 inch storm drain on Fourth Street was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, 194. 4 4- 4 that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. RESOLUTION NO. 1003, Directing City Engineer to Furnish Diagram for grading and other improvement of Second Street from Highland Avenue to Laurel Avenue, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ;RESOLUTION NO. 1004, Directing City Engineer to Furnish Diagram for the paving of portions of Eighth Street, Ninth Street and A Avenue was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution be adopted. Trustees present voting aye. RESOLUTION NO. 1005, Authorizing Payment of Bonded Indebtedness due Sept. 15, 1925, amounting to $10,020.00 was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addie, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Carried, all •The Map of Aiken -Hobson Subdivision was referred to the City Engineer. •Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the City Engineer prepare plans and specifications for oiling the pavement on East Eighth Street between Section 105 and + Section 106; Eighteenth Street from P Avenue to Granger Avenue; Granger Avenue from Eighteenth Street to Twenty-fourth Street; and portions of Highland Avenue and Fourth Street. Carried. .0R7INANCE NO. , Defining Assault and Battery and Fixing a Penalty Therefor was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Ftttz, that it be introduced and laid over under .the rules and according to law. Carried. .ORDINANCE NO. , Amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 548 and Fixing Salary of Fire Marshal was read. Carried. ,Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the City Engineer prepare plans and specifications for the pav- ing, with concrete, of Sixth and Seventh Streets from First Avenue to K Avenue, and leave out cross expansion joints. Carried. ,The proposition of making J Avenue 60 feet in width from Sixteenth Street to Eighteenth Street was referred to the City Engineer. ,Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis, that the Street S,iperintendent be instructed to have new motor installed in truck.
