Report ordered filed. J RESOLUTION NO. 875, Denying and Overruling protest of property owners against the proposed improvement of Second and Third Streets, A, E, r and G Avenues, was read. Moved by Murray, 64. seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution ba adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for quarter ending March 31, 1924, presented and ordered filed. 'Report of the Recorder for month of March, 1924, pre- sented and ordered filed. .Petition of T. B. Adams to be appointed Deputy Marshal was read and ordered filed. -Petition of 7. A. Mordhoret requesting transfer of Pool License in the name of Townsend & Harris to himself, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded oy Addis, that the petition be granted. Carried. ,Report of the City Fn_ineer reaardinl the opening of P Avenue north of 3th Street, also recommending that the peti- tion to close the allev in Block 16, City Plat, be not granted, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Murray, that the report be accepted. Carried. 'Report of the City Engineer recom'tendin_ that the alley between let and 2nd Streets and extending from the easterly ;line of D Avenue to the Westerly line of F Avenue be closed ae requested in petition, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the report be accepted. Carried. .Petition of F. L. Bollen requesting that proceedings be taken to close the alley in Block 2 of Coombes Place, -vas read. Moved oy Fritz, eeconded by Murray, that the petition be accepted and ordered filed. Moved by Addis), seconded by Murray, that it be referred to the City Engineer. Carried. 65. .Communication from the Leaa-ue of California Municipalities regarding an initiative measure whicn is proposed regarding the distribution of the funds received from the MMIotor Vehicle Act, was read and ordered filed. 'RESOLUTION NO. 876, favoring a new division of the Motor Vehicle and Gasoline Tax funds, -vas read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. I.RESOLUTIOON NO. 877, Authorizing Payment of Extra Com- pensation to City Treasurer from June 4, 1923 to April 14, 1°24, amounting to $210.00, was read. Moved by Murray, seccnded by Edgerton, that the Resolution be adopted. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. • Moved by Addis, beconded by Fritz, that, the pesolution of Award No. 883 be approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. _Moved by Hurray, seconded by Fritz, that the following 60 C.P. street lights be added to the present system at the following points: 2nd Street and F Avenue; 7th Street and Highland Avenue; 13th Street and 7th Avenue; 8th Street and 1st Avenue; and 18th Street and Granger Avenue. Also, that 600 C.P. lights be instal3ed in place of the 60 C.P. at the followinv points: lst Street and National Avenue; 13th Street and National Avenue; 24th Street and _dati:nal Avenue; 2nd Street and Highland Avenue; 8th Street and Eishland Avenue; and 24th 67. -T Street and Highland Avenue. And that the light at 30th Street at the railway right of Tay in Sweetwater Valley be remcved. Carried. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the Board adzourn. Carried.
