Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. -Petition of Pacific Tel. & Tel. Company to trim one Eucalyptus tree in alley South of Eighteenth Street, West of 0 Avenue, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis, that the petition be granted. Carried. .Petition of Olof Nelson for an extension of thirty days time for grading and other improvement of portion of I wae'read and ordered filed. .Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for ending June 30, 1924, presented and ordered filed. •Repoit of the City Clerk for year ending June 30, Avenue quarter 1934, presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Addis, that the 94. report be received and filed and the City Clerk instructed to have same published aocofding to law. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Report of the Street Superintendent of the coat of install- ing a strip of pavement on Twenty-fourth Street near Fifth Avenue, amounting to $370.35, was read and ordered filed. J.ORDINANCE NO. 541, Amending Section 1* of Ordinance No. 358 and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 377, Licensing Card Tables, was planed on final passage, and on motion by Cordingly, seconded' by Fritz, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye. "RESOLUTION NO. 915, Granting Extension of thirty days time to Olof Nelson for grading and other improvement of portion of I Avenue was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. -RESOLUTION NO. 916, Changing and Establishing the grade of portion of First Avenue, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .The following bids received for the grading and other im. provement of portions of Second and Third Streets, A; E, F,and G Avenues, read: OLOF NELSON Excavation, per cubic yard 85 cents. Embankment, per cubic yard 10 cents. Cement Concrete sidewalks, per square foot . . . . 31 cents. Cement Concrete per lineal foot Cement Concrete per square foot curbing, gutter, 65 cents. 20 cents. Carried. •ORDINANCE NO. , Calling a Special Election to be held August 28, 1924, and Submitting to the Voters a Proposition-_ for the Incurring of Bonded indebtedness amounting to $15,000.00, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that it be introduoed and laid over under the rules and aocording to law. Carried. ✓RESOLDTION NO. 91?, Sustaining Appeals and Correcting Aeeesement for the grading and other improvement of portions of B, C and D Avenues, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present 'voting aye. 98. -Report of the City Engineer on bide for the improvement of portions of 8eoond andThird Streets, A, E, F and G Avenues, and recommending the acceptance of the bid of H. G. Fenton, was read and ordered filed. 'RESOLUTION OF AWARD H0. 918 to H. G. Fenton for the grading and other improvement of portions of 8eoond and Third Streets, A, E, F and G Avenues, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution of Award for,the grading and other improvement of portions of Second and Third Streets, A, E, F and G Avenues be approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 1The matter of rebuilding fence and widening tennis court was referred to Street Committee.
