Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Mr. Reynolds, 909 E. 18th Street, was present and requested permiseion to top Eucalyptus trees in front of his 125. property. Moved by Addis, seconded by Bird, that the re- quest be granted. Carried. .Report of the Health Officer for month of October 1924, was read and ordered filed. .Petition of J. J. LaPorte, Traffic Officer, for increase in salary was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that it be referred to the Police Committee. Carried. 'Petition of T. P. Frazer for permanent appointment as Traffic Officer was read and referred to the Police Committee. .Petition of David Palmanteer regardinE sewer was read and referred to the City Engineer. .Report of the Recorder for month of October 1924, presented and ordered filed. :ORDINANCE NO. 54?, Amending Sections 2 and 13 of Ordinance No. 525, Eetabliehing Fire Limits, etc., was placed on final passage and on motion by Cordingly, seconded by Addis, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye. RESOLUTION NO. 941 OF INTENTION to Close Certain Streeta and Alleys in Jordan's Subdivision, 20 Acre Lot 1, Section 131, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Cordingly, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 1 .RESOLUTION NO. 942, Denying, and Overruling protest of property owners against assessments for improvement of portion of 16th Street was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 1RESOLUTION NO. 943, Authorizing Payment of 25% of costa of paving portions of 18th Street and Granger Avenue, amounting to $2236.23, to the Pioneer Truck Co. was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. RESOLUTION NO. 944, Directing City Engineer to furnish diagram for paving portione of 18th Street and Granger Avenue 126. was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present vot- ing aye. (RESOLUTION NO. 945, Approving diagram of City Engineer for paving portions of l8th Street and Granger Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,RESOLUTION NO. 946, Directing City Clerk to Advertise for bide for sale of Fire Apparatus Bonds in sum of $15,000.00 was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the reso- lution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,The City Marshal recommended that they deny the request of Y. G. Ramirez for pool license. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, that the report be accepted and the request of M. G. Ramirez for pool license be denied. Carried. ,The Fire Committee was given further time regarding fire hydrants on Second Street. ,The Police Committee was given further time regarding the Police Relief Fund. .The Finance Committee was given further time regarding increase of salary of Health Officer. .The matter of new quarters for the City Recorder and Jail was referred to the Police Committee.
