National City, California, Sept. 23, 1924.
Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees called
to order by the President. Trustees present- Addis, Bird,
Cordingly, Fritz and Murray.
Minutes of regular meeting of Sept. 16, 1924, read and
approved.
The following bills, audited by the Finance Committee,
presented:

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
-The Schiefer Furniture Company requested that a fire plug
be placed near their factory. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz,
that it be referred to the Fire Committee. Carried.
Communication from Mary L. Morgan regarding drainage on
A Avenue was read and referred to the City Engineer.
.Petition of W. Wickham, accompanied by check for $5.00, to
remove one tree was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly,
that the request be granted. Carried.
,Report of Vreeland, Everts & Company regarding Recorder's
account was read and referred to the Finance Committee.
ORDINANCE NO. 545, Providing for the Issuance of Bonds
in the sum of $15,000.00 for the Acquisition of Fire Apparatus,
was placed on final passage, and on motion by Cordingly, seconded
by Bird, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye.
.ORDINANCE NO. Closing certain Streets, Avenues and
Alleys for the Potter Radiator Corporation, was read. Moved by
Bird, seconded by Fritz, that it be introduced and laid over
under the rules and according to law. Carried.

•Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that a fire
hydrant bp installed at let Street and and Avenue; 20th Street
and F Avenue; and 20th Street and J Avenue. Carried, all
Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the City
Engineer be instructed to start proceedings to install side-
walks on First Avenue. Carried.
•Moved by Cordingly, eedonded by Bird, that the following
transfers be made: From the General Fund to the Salary Fund
$1,012.94; to the Street Fund $1000.00; to the Fire Fund
$1000.00; to the Police Fund $2575.00; to the Engineering Fund
$600.00; to Sinking Fund No. 4 $47.32; and to the Park Fund
$250.00. And the City Clerk and City Treasurer be instructed
to make the necessary entttee upon their records. Carried.

transfer be made: From the Street Improvement Fund to the
General Fund $1000 00 And the City Clerk and City Treasurer
be instructed to make the necessary entries upon their records.
Carried.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Board
adjourn.. Carried.
