Trustees present- Addis, Edgerton, Fritz, Murray and Boulette. Minutes of regular meeting of Dec. 4, 1923, read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ,Petition of D. W. Joiner to remove one pepper tree at the northeast corner of Highland Avenue and Eighteenth Street was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis, that the petition be granted. Carried. ,Petition of Levi, et al, to have grade established on por- tions of Second Street and Second Avenue was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the City Engineer be instructed to eetablish grades. Carried. .Petition of A. A. Jerauld to install a gasoline pump at 421 National Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Edgerton, that the petition be granted. Carried. ,Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the petition of property owners to pave portions of Eighteenth Street and Granger Avenue he granted. tarried. 37. 1 '1%./Reaolution No. 844 ordering the closing of Third Avenue from Division Street to Seventh Street, Fifth Street from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue, and Third Street from First Avenue to Fourth Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Resolution No. granting Franchise to Levi, et al, to construct and operate a railway track was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that it be introduced and laid over according tc law. Carried. Resolution No. 845 of Intention to change and establish the grade of Second Street between the Westerly line of D Avenue and a line 290 feet Westerly from the center line of D Avenue was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that._ the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. , Ordinance No. amending Ordinance No. 367,providing a license for laundry wagons was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded. by Addis, that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. ,Ordinance No. providing for a standard for the installation of electrical work and inspection thereof was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis, that it be intro— duced and laid over under the mules and according to law. Carried. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Edgerton, that the Board adjourn to Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1924, at 7:30 P. M. o'clock. Carried, ATTEST: City Clerk.
