Trustees present,— Addis, Boulette, Fritz, Murray and Edgerton. Minutes of regular meeting of Feb. 6, 1923 read and approved. Petition of property owners to narrow Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets, was read and referred tc the Street Committee. Communicatacn from Clive L. Ellis regarding drainage at 24th Street & National Avenue, was read and referred to the Street Committee. . Petition of S. A. Townsend and G. E. Harris for trans— fer of Pool License issued to Cagle & Fattig, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis that the transfer be made. Carried. • Petition of Mrs. J. W. Fink tc remove fcur eucalyptus stumps on Parking on 5th Street, Cor. G Avenue, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette, that the request be granted. Carried. 205.'1 Co.m unication from Ed rillcughby thanking the Trustees in requesting Governor Fichardeon to reappoint him as a member of the State Board of Harbor Comazeeionere of the Bay of San Diego, was read and rrdered filed. Communication from Paul H. Granger regarding the removal of building by the Fire Marshal, was read and referred to the City Attorney. Petition of M. D.Clark to remove three pepper trees on 12th Street, was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the petition be granted. Carried. ,Petition of property owners on loth Street requesting that said 18th_ Street be Gamed ae one of the streets to be paved under the proposed bond issue, was read and referred to the Finance Committee. •Repo'rt of the City Engineer regarding petition of property owners cn loth Street from National to D Avenues to have same graded, stating that 65 of the frontage between said points ie represented and reconvendin_g that the petition be granted, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Murray, that the report be accepted. Carried. ORDINANCE NO. 522 Repealing Ordinance No. 198, was placed on final passage and on motion by Murray, eeconded by Boulette, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye. ORDINANCE No. 523, An Ordinance Providing Certain Requirements in relation to the Acceptance of Plata and Maps of Subdivisions of Lands into Streets and Lots, was placed on final passage and on motion by Fritz, seconded by Murray, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye. Carried. .The proposition of an electrical ordinance, cn motion by Boulette, seconded by Addis, was referred to to Fire Coarittee. Carried. The City Fngineer reported on bide for the grading and other improvement of Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Streets and recommended that the bid of the Pioneer Truck Co. be accepted. Moved by Fritz, eeconded by Murray that the City Engineer be given more time to examine bide. Carried. -Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that a street light be installed at the intersection of Sixth Street and B Avenue. Carried. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Murray that the Board ad3curn.
