Trustees present,- Addis, Boulette, Fritz, Murray & Edgerton. Minutes of regular meeting of January 2, 1923 read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Communication from C. J. Ladroot requesting the removal of brush on Second Street and National Avenue was read and referred to the Street Committee. •Petition of Walter ollestadto remove two eucalyptus trees at 1224 E. l6th Street was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the petition be granted. Carried. •Communication from Assemblyman Mueller, with copy of Assembly Bill No. 1310 introduced at the last session of the Legislature, was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Addis that the Trustees approve the bill and urge passage of same. Carried. 197. � Reports of the Clerk and Treasurer for the Quarter ending December 31, 1922 ordered filed. RESOLUTION NO. 779 Accepting the Plane and Specifi— cations presented by the City Engineer for the construction of toilets in City Park, was read. Moved by Murray, eecotded by Addis that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Bonds of n.C. Merritt, W. G. Willis and Guy C.Warner as Master Plumbers, were presented. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz, that the Bonds be approved, accepted and ordered filed. Carried. Mr. Spicer presented map of land in Paradise Valley showing streets of 40 feet in width and stated he wished to deed same to City for street purposes. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis that it is the sense of this Board if the owners of the property will make etreete 60 feet wide, the Trustees will be glad to accept same. Carried. .Moved by Roulette, seconded by Fritz that the following named citizens be appointed members of the Board of Health for the ensuing year: Dr. T.F.Johnson, A. B.Kimball, Raymond Hill, C. B.Ireland and L.E.C.Smith. Carried. d RESOLUTION NO. 780 Ordering the President of the Board of Trustees and City Clerk to execute and record a deed reconveying the Westerly 30 feet of the Easterly i of the Westerly z of 40 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 131, to the Homeland Building Co. was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Murray that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 4-RESOLUTION NO. 781 Accepting the Map of Lincoln Acres Annex No. 2, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees pre— sent voting aye. . RESOLUTION NO. 782 Ordering the Closing of C Avenue from the Southerly line of First Street to the Northerly line of Third Street, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded 19E. by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. RESOLUTION NO. 783 Ordering the Change and Establishment of the grade of portions of Second and Third Streets, was read. Moved by Fritz, seoonded by Boulette, that the Reso- lution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. J.RESOLUTION NO. 784 Ordering the Change and Establishment of the grade of portions of A, B, C and D Avenues, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ORDINANCE NO. Amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 511, Bonds of City Officers, was read. Moved by Goulette, seconded by Addis that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. .ORDINANCE ITO. An Ordinance to prevent the keeping of certain animals, etc. within fifteen feet of any building used for dwelling purposes, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried. ORDINANCE NO. Establishing Fire Limits and regu- lating the construction of buildings, etc. was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz, that it be laid over to the next meeting. Carried. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Murray that the Fire Marshal have supervision of the Camp Ground. Carried. 'Moved by Murray, seconded by Boulette, that the City Clerk be instructed to write the Governor and the represen- tatives from this district requesting the reappointment of Ed Willoughby as State Harbor Commissioner of the Bay of San Diego. Carried. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis, that the Fire Marshal be instructed to investigate the petitions for removal of trees for the past four years and report those who have not rerlaced sare with other trees. Carried. 199 .r Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette, that the pavement on National Avenue from 6th to let Streets be completed under the Vrooman Act. Carried. 'The Finance Committee was instructed to investigate the proposition of purchasing the light fixtures in the second story of the City Hall. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that a committee be appointed to investigate the proposition of more street paving, erection of City Ha.1, etc by Bond issue. Carried; The President appointed the Finance Committee as such com- mittee. Moved by Goulette, seconded by Fritz, that the Board adzourn. Carried.
