approved.

Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz that the bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
•Mr. Fred S.Wrtght was present and requested permission
to remove eucalyptus trees at 2nd Avenue and 13th Street
and agreed to replace by others. Moved by Fritz, seconded
by Boulette that the request be granted.. Carried.
Resignation of L. K. Ogden, City Treasurer, to take
effect April 19, 1923 *as read. Moved by Murray, seconded
by Fritz that the Resignation be accepted and that the
Treasurers books be audited as requested. Carried.
'Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz that the President
of the Board appoint a committee to see about getting some
one to audit the books. Carried. The president appointed
as such the members of the Finance Committee.
•Mr. J.J.Skinner was present and requested permission
for D. A. Hilton to remove four eucalyptus trees at llth
Street and First Avenue. Moved by Boulette, seconded by
Murray that the petition be granted. Carried.

Budget for the Library for the year 1923-1924
amounting to $2865.00 was presented and ordered filed.
•Communication signed by a Tax Payer regarding the
planting of trees on 8th Street was read and ordered filed.
-Communication from Assemblyman Edwin A. Mueller
announcing a Benefit Ball for the El Cajon Valley Fire
Department to be held at the Bostonia Pavilian, April 4,
1923 and enclosing 25 tickets, was read and referred to
Trustee Murray.
Petition of Geo. S. Davis to remove five eucalyptus
trees at 18th Street and L Avenue, was read. Moved by
Boulette, seconded by Fritz that it be referred to the
City Marshal. Carried.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the City
Marshal notify parties on 18th Street and L Avenue that
they have no right to take out trees without first getting
permission from the Board of Trustees. Carried.
•Petition of R. B.Kemp to remove eucalyptus trees
at the Northeast Corner of 24th Street and A Avenue, stat-
ing that he would put in other trees in place of them,
was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz that the
petition be granted. Carried.
The Street Committee to whom the application of
G. A.Bushert for an increase in wages was referred reported
that they did not deem if advisable to make any change in
salary at the present time and stated that the request
should be dented. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Murray
that the report be accepted. Carried.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette that the matter
of opening 20th Street between C and D Avenues be referred
to the City Attorney. Carried.
Bond of C. P. Mille as Sidewalk Builder was presented.
Mowed by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the Bond be
approved, accepted and ordered filed. Carried.

-ORDINANCE NO. Providing for the Incarceration
of Prisoners in the County Jail, was read. Moved by Fritz,
seconded by Boulette that it be introduced and laid over
under the rules and according to law. Carried.
ORDINANCE NO. Establishing Fire Limits and
Regulating Construction and Equipment of Buildings therein
was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette that it be
introduced and laid over under the rules and according to
law. Carried.
Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
