Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees oalled to
order by the President. Trustees present- Addis, Edgerton,
Fritz, Murray and Boulette.
Minutes of regular meeting of Sept. 18th, 1923 read
and approved.

Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
• Mr. Summers requested permission to remove eucalyptus
trees at 1608 and Avenue and wished to plant Avacados in
their plane. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Fritz that it be
referred to the Finance Committee. Carried.
Petition of Grant Dalton to remove eucalyptus trees at
1021 E. 16th St. was read and referred to the Finance
Committee.

Petition of property owners to close alley in Block 2
of Coombe's Place and Excelsior Place subdivisions was read
and referred to the City Engineer and Chairman of the Street
Committee.
-Report of the Recorder for the month of September,
presented and ordered filed.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Edgerton, that the re-
quest of Mary J. Noyes regarding payment of Certificate No.
50 for the Mortgage Interest in Blook 283 for the 1895 tax
be denied. Carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 833 Authorizing Payment of Bonded Indeb-
tedness due Ootober 1, 1923, amounting to $30.00 was read.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis, that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
J RESOLUTION NO. 834 Accepting Plans and Specifications
and directing Clerk to advertise for bids for paving *Pith
Bituminous Macadam Pavement of 8th Street from the Easterly
City Limits to the Westerly line of Quarter Sections 105 and
106, *as read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Edgerton that
the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present
voting aye.
RESOLUTION NO. 835 Ordering the Work of Grading and
other improvement of portions of B, C and D Avenues, was
read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the Resolu-
tion be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that the Board ad-
journ. Carried.
