National City, Calif., June 21, 1922.
Adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Addis, Boulette,
Fritz, Murray and Edgerton.
Minutes of regular meeting of June 20, 1922 read and
approved.
The following bills, audited by the Finance Committee

Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz, that the City
Marshal notify property owners in the Sewer District who have
not made connections that same moat be done immediately.
Carried.
Communication from the National City Chamber of Commerce
*as read and ordered filed.
Communication from Mrs. E.Thelen addressed to the President
of the Board of Trustees, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded
by Addis that the Library Trustees be informed that if they
drill officially notify the Trustees of the amount really
needed for repairs, etc. assistance will undoubtedly be render-
ed. Carried.

.Petition cf property owners to grade G Avenue between
3rd and 4th Streets by private contract, was read. Moved
by Murray, seconded by Boulette, that it be referred to
the Street Committee and City Engineer. Carried.
• Communication from A. Faulkner & Co. regarding the
audit of the books was read and ordered filed.
• Resignation of T. P. Frazer as Deputy Marshal under
date of June 8, 1922, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by
Boulette that it be accepted. Carried.
• Communication from the city Marshal recommending the
appointment of John A.Burrs as Deputy Marshal, also asking
permission to appoint a Speed Cop on certain days, was
read. Moved by Roulette, seconded by Murray that it be
referred to the Police Committee. Carried.
• Report of the City Engineer regarding the installation
of spur track as requested by W.A.Bush, 'vas read. Moved by
Addis, seconded by Murray that it be received and filed.
Carried.
• Report of the City Engineer regarding opening of
street on East side of Tranquilla Place, was read. Moved
by Fritz, seconded:by Roulette that it be accepted and
ordered filed. Carried.
• Report of the City Engineer regarding protest of W.R.
Evarts regarding drainage at 24th & National Avenue was
read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis that it be received
and placed on file and a copy of retort mailed to Everts.
Carried.
• Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the Sweetwater
Water Corporation be instructed to install a Fire Hydrant
at 18th Street and C Avenue. Carried.
• Moved by Llurray,reeconded by Addis that the Street
Superintendent be instructed to put the bath -house and wha3'f ,
in repair. Carried.

Petition of A. A. Mille to remave trees, was read.
Moved by Addis, seconded by Murray that it be referred to
the Street Committee and Street Superintendent. Carried.
•ORDINANCE NO. , an Ordinance repealing
Ordinance No. 382 regarding the installation of Electrical
wiring, etc. was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz
that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and
according to law. Carried.
✓• RESOLUTION NO. 734 Accepting Plat of District for
paving First Street, National Avenue to F Avenue, was
read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the Reso-
lution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
✓,RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 735 to pave First Street
from the Easterly line of National Avenue to the Easterly
line of F Avenue, was read. Moved by Fritz, eeconded by
Boulette that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all
"Trustees present voting aye.
•Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz that the matter of
a camp -ground be referred to the Street Committee with
power to act. Carried.
•Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the sum of
$4000.00 be traneferred from the General Fund to the Street
Fund and that the City Treasurer and Clerk be instructed
to make the necessary entries upon their records. Carried.
Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
