Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the City -Clerk. Trustees present,-Cordingly,
Edgerton and Snook. Trustees Boulette and Hertel absent.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly, that
Trustee Snook act as President pro tem. Carried.
Minutes of regular meeting of February 21, 1922 read
and approved.

Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
Mr. H. G. Burk requested permission to remove trees at
18th Street and B. Ave. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by
Edgerton that the request be granted. Carried.

Application of Olof Nelson for an extension of time
for the grading of Twenty Third Street, Sixth to Ninth
Avenues, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton
that Olof Nelson be and he is hereby granted an extension of
sixty days within which to complete his contract with the
Superintendent of Streets of the City of National City, for
the grading and other improvement of Twenty Third Street
in Said City from Sixth to Ninth Avenues, anti that the Super—
intendent of Streets of said City and he is hereby instructed
to endorse said extension upon said contract. Carried.
Communicationsfrom Eli Newsom and John Soderberg regarding
condition of streets, were read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded
by dordingly that they be referred to the Street Superintendent.
Carried.
.Report of the Recorder for the month of February, 1922
read and ordered filed.
-Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton that the
resignation of Mr. Fred Hertel as President and member of the
Board of Trustees be accepted. Carried.
✓.RESOLUTION NO. 704 regarding resignation of Fred Hertel,
was read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that Trustee
J. C. Snook be elected President of the Board of Trustees
to fill out the unexpired term of Fred Hertel. Carried.
•Bonde of Guy C. Warner and Elmer C. Cushman, Master
Plumbers, were presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by
Edgerton that the Bonds be approved, accepted and ordered
filed. Carried.
J RESOLUTION NO. 705 Directing the City Engineer to furnish
diagram of property affected and benefitted by grading and
other improvement of Twenty Third Street,Sixth to Ninth Avenues,
was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried all Trustees :resent voting aye.

✓RESOLUTION NO. 706 Approving diagram of City Engineer
of property affected and benefitted by the grading of Twenty
Third Street, Sixth to Ninth Avenues, was read. Moved by
Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
/ RESOLUTION NO. 707 Calling General Municipal Election
to be held April 10, 1922, was read. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Edgerton that the Resolution be adopted. Carried
all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
