Pursuant to call by three members of the Board of Trustees as shown by the following affidavit, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held October 13, 1922 at 8:00 o'clock A.M. of said day: Trustees present,- Addis, Boulette and Fritz; Trustees Edgerton and Murray absent. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz that Trustee Boulette act as President pro tem. Carried. ✓-RESOLUTION NO. 752 Accepting Specifications and Directing Clerk to advertise for bide for paving with asphaltic concrete along the sides of the existing pavement on certain streets, etc. was read. Moved by Addis, seconded by Fritz, that Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that Board adjourn. Carried. 9 President of the =.! rd of Trustees of the City of ational City, California. 4 NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA. TO'THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA. GENTLEMEN: Please take notioe that a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of National City, California, has been called by the undersigned, three members of said Board, and will be held at the ohambore of said Board in the City Hall in said City on Friday, the 13th day of October, 1932, at 8:00 o'clock A.M. of Said daffy. The purpose of said meeting Will be to adopt a Resolution accepting the Specifications presented to the Board at said time by the City Engineer of said City,for the following work, to -tit: The paving of a width of three (3) feet with a three (3) inch thioknese of asphaltic concrete along and adjacent to the existing oonorete pavement on the following streets in the City of National City, California: Along the Westerl side of the pavement on Hi Avenue from a point 1400 feet South of the South line of ,Eighth .Street to the North line of Eighteenth Street; along both sides of the pavement on Highland Avenue from the South line of Eighth Street to a point 780 feet South'of. said South line;-along'both sides of the pavement on National Avenue from the South line of Thirteenth Street to a point 480 feet South of said South line and the paving of two triangular sections, one on each side of the National Avenue pavement at the Qogth line of Thirteenth Street,said triangles to be twelve (12) feet on each side; and along both sides of the pavement on Eighth Street from the East- erly line of g Avenue to a point 580 feet East of the East- erly line of K Avenue; Alsq the paving of a width of sixteen (16) feet with a three (3) inch thickness of asphaltic concrete for a length of ninety (90) feet on Twenty Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue; The City will do the grading and set the header boards ready for said paving. The Contraotor tq furnish, lay and thoroughly robl, with at least an eight (8) ton roller, the asphaltic concrete; and also for the purpose of passing a Resolution directing the City Clerk of said City to advertise according to lair for bide for furnishing all the material and labor for said Mork hereinbefore described; and any other business that may be desired.
