Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Addis, Boulette,
Fritz, Murray and Edgerton.
Minutes of regular meeting of Oct. 3, 1922 and Special
meeting of October 13, 1933 read and approved.
The following bills audited by the Finanoe Committee
presented:

Moved by Roulette, seconded by Fritz, that the bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
'Petition of property owners regarding condition of
Eighteenth Street East of P Avenue was read. Moved by
Boulette, seconded by Addis that it be referred to the
Street Committee. Carried.
.Petition of R. L. Phillips requesting the appointment
of Manuel Garcia as a Deputy Marshal, was read and referred
to the Police Committee.
Communication from E.M.Wright regarding speed signs
was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Boulette that the
City Clerk notify Mr. Rhodes to have signs put up. Carried.
Communication from Wm.Rankin regarding alley in Block 2,
Powell's Sub. was read and referred to the City Engineer and
Street Committee.

,Communication from Mrs. A.E.Southworth regarding
condition of Second Avenue, et&. was read and referred to
the Street Committee.
•Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the
Quarter ending September 30, 1922, were presented and ordered
filed.
In the matter of renting the Fire Hall to the Christain
Science Church the Fire Committee to Whom it was referred,
reported,- that while they were not in favor of renting the
Hall, in this case they would recommend that they be allowed
to use Hall Wednesday Evenings and Sunday Mornings, provided
the actual expenses are paid by the Christain Science Church.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis, that the report be
accepted. Carried.
In regard to the petition of citizens for additional
Street Lights on Seventh Avenue, the Fire Committee
recommended that it be granted. Moved by Murray, seconded
by Fritz, that the City Clerk be instructed to notify the
San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Co. to install two
additional Street lights of 60 Candle power each, one on
Seventh Avenue and 17th Street and one on Seventh Avenue
and 19th Street. Carried.
ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance Declaring Old Buildings,
eto. to be Publto Nuisance, introduced October 3, 1922, was
presented. Movedty Roulette, seconded by Fritz, that it be
laid over to the next meeting. Carried.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Boulette that the matter
of paving at the corner of First Street and F Avenue be
referred to the City Engineer and Street Committee with
power to act. Carried.
Moved by Boulette, seconded by Fritz that the City
Attorney interview the Street Railway Company and request
them to make repairs on track on National Avenue. Carried.

''RESOLUTION NO. 753, Rescinding Resolution No. 752
adopted October 13, 1922, was read. Moved by Goulette,
seconded by Addis that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Truetees_present voting aye.
'-RESOLUTION NO. 754, Ordering the Final Payment to
Fairohild-Gilmore-NiltOn-Co. under Contract dated June 14,
1932, amounting to $7,095.59, was read. Moved by Murray,
seconded by Addis that the Resolution be adopted. Carried.
!RESOLUTION NO. 755, Ordering Payment of Bonded Indebt-
edneee due Ootober 1, 1922, on Park Improvement Bonds,
Sinking Fund No. 3, amounting to $60.00, was read. Moved by
Goulette, seconded by Murray that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
