Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the sate. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
•Moved by Murray, seconded by Addis that a committee
including the City Engineer, be appointed to look into
the i„ater of drainage at National Avenue and 30th Street.
Carried. The President appointed the following Trustees
as members of the committee: Murray, Fritz and Addis.
.Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that the National
City Band be given use of National Avenue from 12th to 13th
Streets the evening of September 30, 1922. Carried.
Petition of J. R. Pidgeon to pave in front of his
property, Second Street and G Avenue,was read and referred
to the City Attorney.
Corr.*unieation from G. A. Bushert requesting an increase
of wages, Was read and referred to the Finance Committee.

• OFnI'_TA?TOE NO. An Ordinance Providing Payment
for the leader of a Municipal Band at $40.00 par month
and creating the office of Leader, etc, was read. Moved
by Murray, seconded by Fritz that it be introduced and laid
over under the riles and according to law. Carried.
•Petition of A. V.Brazg to trim trees at 1505 J Avenue
Was read and referred to the Street Committee.
Petition of property owners on A Avenue south of
loth Street requesting that sidewalk be ordered in, was
read and referred to the City Attorney.
.Communication from G. C. Cheney, 607 0 Avenue regarding
drainage, was read'and referred to the Street Committee.
Communication from The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
Com:.+any regarding franchise, was read. Moved by Addis, seconded
by Fri t, that it be filed. Carried.
—RESOLUTION 70. 749, Granting J. R. Pidgeon permission
to pave in front of property at 2nd Street was read. Moved
by Fritz, seconded by Hurray, that Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
-The matter of water pressure in Hydrants was referred
to the Fire Committee.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that the Street
Superintendent be instructed to replace flood gate, 24th
Street near Sixth Avenue. Carried.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Addis that the petition
of Isaac Ruda regarding drainage be denied. Carried.
OFDTNALTCE NO. 517, Fixing the Hate and Levying the
Taxes for the Fiscal year 1922-1923 at $1.72, for each
$100.00 valuation, was placed on final passage and on
motion be Murray, seconded by Fritz, same adopted all
Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the following
sums be transferred from the General Fund:

,To the Fire Fund - $600.00; to the Engineering Fund -
$1000.00 and to the Sinking Fund No. 2 - $24.80, and that
the City Clerk and City Treasurer be instructed to make
the necessary entries upon their records. Carried.
ARESOL"J^_ION NO. 750 Authorizing the Payment of Bonded
Indebtedness due September 15, 1922 amounting to $10,560.00
was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting
aye.
'Bond of Joe Nhittingham as Sidewalk Builder, was pre-
sented. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray that the Bond
be approved, accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
✓ RESOLUTION NO.751 of Intention to Change and Establish
the Grade of Fifth Street from the Easterly line of First
Avenue to the Easterly line of K Avenue; Sixth Street from
the Easterly line of First Avenue to the Easterly line of
K Avenue and Seventh Street from the Easterly line of
National Avenue to the Easterly line of K Avenue, was read.
Loved by Addis, seconded by Fritz that Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that Board adjourn.
Carried.
