Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly,
Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and Hertel.
Minutes of adjourned meeting of March 22, 1921 read
and approved.
The following bills, audited by the Finance Committee

be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
-Petition of William Field forthe position of Inspector
on the proposed paving, was read and ordered filed.
Petition of R. E.Smith for position of Inspector for the
contemplated paving, was read and ordered filed.

Petition of citizens requesting that a portion of
Eighth Street be reserved for tying and hitching horses,
was read and referred to the City Attorney.
Petition of property owners to change the width of
B Avenue between the Southerly line of loth Street and the
Northerly line of 13th Street, was read and referred to the
City Engineer.
Reports -of the City Clerk and Treasurer for the quarter
ending March 31, 1931 were presented. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Boulette that they be received and ordered filed.
Carried.
Bid of I. G. Silver to furnish new Fordson Tractor as
per notice inviting said bid, amounting to $738.35, was read
and referred to the Street Committee.
The following bids received for paving certain streets:

referred to the City Engineer. Carried.
•Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that a warrant be
drawn in favor of the National City State Bank,Assignee of
Olof Nelson for 50% of contract price for grading and culverts
on National Avenue from a point 100 feet North of the Northerly
line of 15th Street to the Northerly line of 21st Street,
amounting to $1536.49, as per contract with said 0lof Nelson.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.

Moved by Goulette, seconded by Edgerton, that a
*arrant be drat in favor of Chas. Stein and Son for 50%0
of contract price for excavation of ditch, construction of
culvert and removal of three old wooden bridges on Eighth
Street between L Avenue and P Avenue, amounting to $880.43
as per contract with said Chas.Stein and Son. Carried,all
Trustees present voting aye.
Resolution No. 643, authorizing the payment of bonded
indebtedness due April 1, 1921, amounting to $1120.00 was
read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton, that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present
voting aye.
,/ RESOLUTION NO. 644 Ordering change and establishment
of grade on F Avenue, First to Second Street and Second
Street, F Avenue to Highland Avenue, was read. Moved by
Cordingly, seconded by Snook that Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
.ORDINANCE NO. , granting franchise to the San Diego
Consolidated Gas & Electric Company, laid over.
Moved by Goulette, seconded by Edgerton that Trustees
Edgerton, Cordingly and Snook be a committee to represent
this Board in planing a Fourth of July celebration. Carried.
%Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton that the Street
Superintendent be instructed to notify man on D Avenue between
10th and l2th Streets to move- fence out of street. Carried.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Goulette, that the Board
adjourn to Thursday, April 7, 1921 at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
