Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly,
Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and Hertel.
Minutes of regular meeting of Deoember 6, 1921, read
and approved.

Moved by Boulette, seconded by Snook, that the bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
-Petition of Mrs. W. H.Slaff to remove trees at 16th
Street and 4th Avenue, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by
Boulette that the petition be granted provided they plant
Acacia in place of trees removed. Carried.
Report of the City Engineer and Superintendent of Streets
regarding completion of the Tennis Courts, was read -and
ordered filed.
Bond of the City Recorder was presented. Moved by
Edgerton, seconded by Boulette, that the Bond be aocepted,
approved and ordered filed. Carried.
�'RESOLUTION NO. 69 tAccepting the Work and Ordering Payment
to Fairchild -Gilmore -Wilton, -Co. for Paving the two tennis
Courts, amounting to $725.76 was read. Moved by Cordingly,

seconded by Snook that the Resolution be adopted. Carried
all Trustees present voting aye.
1RESOLUTION N0. 695, Ordering the Closing up of the
Alley in Block 1 of W. R. Rea's Subdivision, was read.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the Resolution
be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
The Railroad Commission of the State of California notified
the City that the hearing of the City ve. Pacific Telephone &
Telegraph Company will be held Wednesday, January 35th, 1922 at
2:00 o'clock P.M.
-The following bide were received for the grading of
Twenty Third Street from Sixth Avenue to Ninth Avenue:
OLOF NELSON: Excavation per cubic yard $ .49
Embankment per cubic yard $ .39
Culverts complete including
headwalls,wingialie & Aprons $289.00
H. G. FEETON: Excavation per cubic yard $ .65
Embankment per cubic yard $ .25

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton, that the bids
be referred to the City Engineer. Carried.
Report of the City Engineer regarding bids for the grading
of Twenty Third Street from Sixth Avenue to Ninth Avenue and
recommending that the bid of Olof Nelson be accepted, was read
and ordered filed.
l-RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 696 For the Grading of Twenty Third
Street to Olof Nelson, was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded
by Cordingly that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all
Trustees present voting aye.
.Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that the RESOLUTION
OF AWARD NO. 696 be approved. Carried, all Trustees present
voting aye.

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the Street
Superintendent and City Engineer be instructed to procure
and put up signs limiting the use of certain streets by trucks
in accordance with Ordinance No. 513. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly, that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
