Trustees present,- Cordingly, Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and Hertel. Minutes of adjourned meeting of January 26, 1921 read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. -Mrs. Goodell requested permission to remove trees ad- joining property on 16th ,ttreet to be replaced with others. Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that petition be granted. Carried. .Mr. Albert Orosco requested permission to remove tivo eucalyptus trees and to top_four others, adjoining his pro- perty on 5th Ave. Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that the petition be granted, Black Acacias to be planted in place of trees removed. Carried. 48. .Petition of Mrs. Line. G. Iverson. to remove trees adjoining her property on D. Avenue, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Boulette that petition be granted. Carried. Bonds of J. 7. Manaway and F. M. Tattersall, plumbers, were presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the bonds be approved and ordered filed. Carried. 'It now being the hour set for opening bide for excava- ting a ditch, constructing a culvert and other work on Eighth Street, the following bids were presented: Olof Nelson Excavation per cubic yd. .49 cents. Culvert complete $959.00 Removal of old wooden bridges, etc $150.00 Chas. Stein and Son. .Excavation per cubic yd. . . .60 cents. Culvert complete Removal of old wooden bridges, etc M. D. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that the bids be referred to the City Engineer. Carried. ,Report of the city Engineer regarding bide for the excavation of a ditch, construction of a culvert and re- moval of hld wooden bridges on 8th Street and recommending the and acceptance of the bid of Chas. Stein and Son. was ordered filed. read ,/.RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 630, Awarding the contract for excavating a ditch, constructing culvert and removing old bridges on Eighth Street to Chas. Stein and Son, was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Cordingly that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 49.✓ Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the City Clerk be authorized to return certified check accompanying 'bid of Olof Nelson. Carried.
