Trustees present,—Cordingly, Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and, Hertel. Minutes of regular meeting of April 20, 1920 reactand -approved. Communication from the Highway Commission regarding paving within the City limits, was read. moved by Snook, seconded by Boulette that the City Clerk be instructed to answer same, explaining what was being done. Carried. Report of the City Engineer regarding new estimate of paving to include construction of culverts, etc. was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by kdgerton that the report be accepted and filed. Carried. ✓Resolution No. 590 repealing and rescinding Resolution No. 584, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ✓.Resolution No. 591, instructing the City Engineer to prepare an estimate of cost and expense of paving and con— structing necessary culverts, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that the Resolution be adopted. Carried all Trustees present voting aye. Estimate of the City Engineer of the cost and expense of paving certain streets with Portland Cement Concrete and constructing the necessary culverts, amounting to $180,000.00, was read. moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that the estimate be accepted and filed. Carried. .Petition of citizens requesting that Eighteenth Street be included in the proposed paving, was read and ordered filed. .Bid of John Engebretson for construction of Sanitary Sewer was then opened and read, amount_being $105,600.00. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that it be referred to the City Rngineer. Carried. 177. / Resolution No. 592, Declaring the necessity of the construction and completion of certain municipal improve- ments, the cost of which will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary income of the municipality and reciting the estimated coat, was read. moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that the Board adjourn to Wednesday, May 5, 1920 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Carried.
