Trustees present,- Cordingly, Boulette, Edgerton and Hertel. Snook absent. Minutes of regular meeting of Aug. 3, 1920 read and approved. The following bills, audited by a majority of the Finance Committee presented: George McCormack Sweetwater Water 0. A. Mullen Bud Briggs D. W. McKenzie Irwin & Co. D. E. Lozier H. C. Boulette T. E. Supplies Engr, " Labor a " " $60.48 248.79 3.46 48.00 48.00 75.75 36.30 44.0Cr 44.00 Total $ 608.78 Moved by Goulette, seconded by Edgerton, that the bills be allowed and *arrante ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Mr. J. S. Dale present and asked permission to remove five eucalyptus trees,adjoining his property at 4:th Avenue and 15th Street. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Boulette that the request be granted, same to be replaced with Black Acacia. Carried. Communication from Stephens & Company, in regard to gettingan opinion on the Street Improvement Bonds, was read and ordered filed. Communication from Mr. G. V. Tuttle, regarding the petition of Mrs. Marie E. Case to remove trees was read. Moved by Cordingly, eecohded by Edgerton, that we reconsider the matter and that Mrs, Case be allowed to remove trees, provided Black Acacias are planted in place of those removed. Carried. 'Petition of Mrs. Elizabeth Hazelrigg to trim trees adjoining her property was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded Boulette, that the petition be granted. Carried. 10. Petition of the Homeland Building Company, to remove platform scales toA. Avenue, south of 8th Street was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by Cordingly, that the request be granted. Carried. Petition of Citizens, that a street light be installed at 3rd Avenue and llth street was read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Boulette, that the City Clerk be instructed to *rite the San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Co., requesting them to remove the light at 30th street and National Avenue to 3rd Avenue and llth street. Carried. ,Bid of Raymond Hill, to repair the roof of the City Hall, for the sum of $107.80, five year guarantee, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette, that the bid of Raymond Hill be accepted, work to be done under the super- vision of the City Engineer. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
