Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly,
Snook, Crandall, Hertel. Weisser absent.
Minutes of adjourned meeting of January 27th, 1920,
read and approved.
The following bills, audited by a majority of the
Finance Committee presented:

Moved by Crandall, seconded by Snook, that bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
Petition of the Elwyn Sanitarium requesting the Trustees
to rescind permit for installation of an Oil Station at the
Southeast corner of National Avenue and 7th Street, was read
and referred to the Health & Morals Committee.
=Mr. Sohleuniger was present and protested against closing
what would he G. Avenue between 16th and 18th Streets. Moved
by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that it be referred to the
City Attorney and Engineer: Carried.
The San Diego Consolidated Gas & Electric Co. requested
permission to trim tree at 3rd Street and R. Ave. Moved by
Crandall, seconded by Snook that it be granted. Carried.

.Petition of D. J. Keller to remove trees was read.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that petition be
granted. Carried.
• J. B. Newkirk requested permission to remove trees
at 1240 2nd avenue. Moved by Snook, seconded by Crandall
that it be referred to the Tree Committee.
- Bonds of F. M. Tattersall and F. M. Chase, Plumbers,
presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that
the Bonds be approved and filed. Carried.
.Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the City
Attorney be instructed to draw an ordinance making the
Engineer's salary $200.00 per month. Carried, all
Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that the Board
adjourn to Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1920, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Carried.
