National City, Calif. Jan. 27, 1920.
Adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Snook, Crandall,
and Hertel. Trustees Cordingly and Weisser absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of January 20, 1920 read
and approved.
Petition of Evans & Evans for Franchise for railroad
switch across 7th Avenue and 12th Street, was read and
referred to the City Attorney.
Petition of van Deripe & Bird to erect an oil station
and construct driveways, etc., also petition Of Genenive
L. Torrance, owner of prcperty requesting permission to
remove four trees, were read. Moved by Crandall, seconded
by Snook that petitions be granted. Carried.
Petition of J. A.Fritz to top trees and petition of
P.C.Yenawine to remove tree, read. Moved by Crandall,
seconded by Snook that petition of J. A. Fritz be granted,
also petition of P.C.Yenawine,provided he will replace with
Black Acacia. Carried.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Crandall that the City
Engineer be authorized to employ two deputies at a wage of
$4.00 per day. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Crandall that Board
adjourn. Carried.
