Adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly, Boulette,
Edgerton and Hertel. Snook absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of July 20, 1920 read and approved.
Petition of Marie E. Case to remove trees, was read and
referred to the Tree committee.
The City Attorney reported he had heard from O'Melveny,
Milliken & Tuller and that they would charge $300.00 to pass
upon the Bond Issue of July 7th, 1920.
RESOLUTION NO. 600, Instructing the City Attorney to
communicate again With O'Melveny, Milliken & Tuller regarding
an opinion on the Bond Issue, *as read. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Boulette that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
•RESOLUTION NO. 601, Rescinding action taken by the Board
of Trustees on the 20th day of July, 1920, in introducing an
Ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds in the sum of
0180,000.00, etc, was read. Moved by Boulette, seconded by
Edgerton that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance providing for the issuance
of bonds in the sum of $180,000.00 for certain street work,
was read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Boulette that it be
introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law.
Carried.
Moved by Boulette, seconded by Cordingly, that the Deputy
City Clerk be paid a salary of $75.00 per month by the City for
the Callendar year, excepting:the months of November and December.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
