Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to order
by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly, Goulette,
Rdgerton, Snook and Hertel.

Moved by Boulette, seconded ly F•dgerton that bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
Mr. J. W. Hallock was present requesting permission to
remove five eucalyptus trees adjoining his property at &6th
Street and R. Avenue, stating he would replace same with
Black acacia. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton that
petition be granted. Carried.
Mr. J. R. Belt was present, requesting permission to
remove three trees in front of his property on 16th Street and
E. Avenue, stating he would replace with Black Acacia. Moved
by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that request be granted. Carried.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that the petition
of Bell& B. & A. B. Grant to remove trees be granted. Carried.
The following bids for the construction of the Sanitary
Sewer System, having been filed with the City Clerk, were
opened and read:

Petition of citizens requesting that Fire Plug be
located at the Northwest corner of 18th Street and C. Avenue,
was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that it be
referred to the Fire Committee. Carried.
Communication from Roy P. Irving, submitting an estimate
of $450.00 for a detailed audit of the books of the City for
a period of six years to May 1, 1920, was read. Moved by
Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that it be referred to the
Finance Committee. Carried.
Ordinance No. calling a Special Election, to be
held on the 22nd day of June, 1920, submitting to the
qualified voters, the proposition of incurring a bonded
debt in the sum of $180,000.00 for the paving of certain
streets and the construction of the necessary culverts
therein, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that
it be introduced and laid over under the rules. Carried.
A Committee from the Fireman's Club was present and
requested that an ordinance be adopted compelling property
owners to clean vacant property, etc., also requested that
the Club rooms be fixed up.
- Mr. F. V. Allen was present, stating that he expected to
install a plant for the manufacture of washing machines ,
and the matter was referred to the Finance Committee.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton that the Board
adjourn to Tuesday, May 25th, 1920 at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Carried.
