Trustees present,- Cordingly, Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and Hertel. Minutes of regular meeting of October 19, 1920 and Special meeting of October 28th, 1920, read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Mr. W. H. Lindner requested permission to trim trees in front of Mr. Kuhlman's property on 5th Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets. Mr. Owen _Marion requested permission to trim trees at 13th Street and 7th Avenue and 23rd Street Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton, be granted. Carried. and 7th Avenue. that the requests 24.✓ Bud Triggs requested an increase in wages. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that it be referred to the Finance Con:»_ttee. Carried. *Marshal Aright requested that a Night Watchman be em- ployed,etating that the merchants had subscribed towards supporting the same. Moved by Goulette, seconded by Edger- ton, that J. M. Pacaud be appointed Deputy Marshal at a salary of $45.00 per month, effective Nov. 3, 1920. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Petition of citizens requesting a Street Light at 2nd Street between H. and L. Avenues, was read and ordered filed. 'Petition to close Alley in Block 12, Kimball's Sub., in 20 Acre Lot 3, 1/4 Section 131, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Edgerton, that it be referred to the Street Committee. Carried. Petition of H. D. Clark to remove pepper trees in front of his residence, stating that he would replace same with palms, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that the petition be granted. Carried. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the Street Sup-rintendent be instructed to put an 18" cement Storm Drain across Nationa] Avenue at 4th Street. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ORDINANCE NO. 502, Repealing Ordinance No. 487,Creating the Office of Park Superintendent, etc., 'ias placed on final passage, and on motion by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly, same adopted all Trustees present voting aye. ORDINANCE NO. 503, Amending Sections 1 and 3 of Ordinance No. 462, Creating the Office of Fire Marshal and Prescribing His Duties, was placed on final passage and on motion by Eoulette, seconded by Cordingly, same adopted all Trustees present voting ape. 'ORDINANCE NO. 504, Repealing Ordinance No. 498 and Amending Sections 7, 12 and 13 of Ordinance No. 497, Fixing 25. the Compensation and ita Mode of Payment of Certain Officers was plced on final passage and on motion by Snook, eeconded by Roulette, same adopted all Trustees present voting aye. -OF.7INANCE NO. 505, Fixing a Datum Line, Establishing Original Bench Park, etc., was placed on final paesage and on motion by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly, same adopted all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly that the Board adjourn to Tueeday, November 9, 1920, at 6:30 o'clock P.M. to go over the ordinances of the city. Carried.
