Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,— Cordingly,
Boulette, Edgerton, Snook and Hertel.
Minutes of regular meeting of October 5,1920, read ,
and approved.
The following bills, audited by the Finance Committee,
presented:

Moved by Boulette, seconded by Snock that the bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
,all Trustees present voting aye.
-Petition of Van Deripe & Bird to install Gasoline Tank
at Oil Station, corner 7th Street and National Avenue, was
read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that petition
be granted. Carried.
Protest of citizens against holding of Mexican Dances
in the City Hall, was read and ordered filed.
-Report of the Treasurer for quarter ending September 30,
1920, was presented and ordered filed.
-The Committee appointed to see about purchasing fire
hose reported they had purchased 250 feet of hose with
couplings.
• RESOLUTION NO. 606 Reconsidering and Rescinding Motion
Passed by the Board of Trustees on the 5th day of October,
1920, introducing an Ordinance fixing the datum line, etc.,
was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.

OPDINANCE NO. An Ordinance Fixing a Datum Line,
etc., was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Edgerton
that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and
according to law. Carried.
ORDINANCE NO. Amending Sections 1 and 3 of
Ordinance Mo. 462, Creating Office ofFire Marshal, was
read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Boulette that it be
introduced and laid over under the rules and according to
law. Carried. -
ORDINANCE NO. Repealing Ordinance No. 487,
Creating the Office of Park Superintendent, *as read. Moved
by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that it be introduced and
laid over under the rules and according to law. Carried.
ORDINANCE No. Repealing Ordinance No. 498 and
Amending Sections 7, 12 and 13 of Ordinance No. 497, fixing
the compensation and its mode of payment of certain officers
and employees, was read. Moved by Edgerton, seconded by
Cordingly, that it be introduced and laid over under the
rules and according to law. Carried.
v RESOLUTION No. 607 Naming Streets East of National Avenue
Running Parallel thereto, was read. Moved by Edgerton,
seconded by Cordingly that the Resolution be adopted. Carried
all Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook, that the City
Engineer be instructed to secure the necessary help to make
the assessment roll for Sanitary Seiner District No. 1. Carried,
811 Trustees present voting aye.
Mr. L. H. Layer requested permission to trim trees.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Boulette that petition be
granted. Carried.
Moved by Edgerton, seconded by Cordingly, that the Board
adjourn to Wednesday, November 3, 1920 at 7:30 o'clock P.M
Carried. •
