MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL Member Sotelo-Solis welcomed everyone back from the Summer Recess and reminded everyone about the Welcome Back Open House event at Sweetwater High next week. Member Rios mentioned her visit with Councilmember Mendivil to the Dream Center facility in the Los Angeles area and said she would be addressing the visit at a future meeting. Member Rios praised the Rotary Club meeting highlighting the new canine vests provided by local service clubs and community members. Mayor Morrison explained that the agenda was small in order that everyone could attend the National Night Out event at Kimball Park. He also reminded everyone about Auto Heritage Day and the Relay for Life event scheduled over the next two weeks. CLOSED SESSION REPORT City Attorney Claudia Silva stated there was nothing to report from the Closed Session.
