ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY,
AMENDING TITLE 18 (ZONING) OF THE
NATIONAL CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING MURAL SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of National City
as follows:
Section 1. Section 18.62.190 of the National City Municipal Code
is amended by deleting Subsection E and re -lettering Subsection F as
Subsection E, Subsection G as Subsection F, Subsection H as Subsection
G, Subsection I as Subsection H, and Subsection J as Subsection I.
Section 2. That a new Section 18.62.185 is added to the
Municipal Code to read as follows:
"8.62.185 Mural -type signs in Commercial zones. Mural type
signs not exceeding 110 square feet in area shall be considered
the same as multiple copy signs."
Section 3. That the City Council has considered proposed
Negative Declaration No. IS-88-20 together with any comments received
during the public review process, approves the Negative Declaration,
and finds on the basis of the Initial Study and any comments received
that there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a
significant effect on the environment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 1988.

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on 8-2-88
and on 8-9-88
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1956 of the City of National City, passed
and adopted by the Council of said City on 8-9-88
