AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1931 AND
SECTION 11.16.010 OF THE
NATIONAL CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
National City that Ordinance No. 1931 and Subsections C and D of
Section 11.16.010 of the National City Municipal Code are amended
to read as follows:
C. Thirty-five miles per hour is declared and established
as the prima facie speed limit on the following streets:
1. Division Street from Highland Avenue to Harbison
Avenue.
2. Fourth Street from National City Boulevard to Palm
Avenue.
3. Fourth Street from Euclid Avenue to Eastern City
Limit.
4. Eighth Street from Harbor Drive to National City
Boulevard.
5. Eighth Street from Highland Avenue to Paradise
Valley Road.
6. Plaza Boulevard from National City Boulevard to
Eighth Street.
7. Sixteenth Street from National City Boulevard to
Highland Avenue.
8. Eighteenth Street from National City Boulevard to
Eastern City Limit.
9. Twenty-fourth Street from Tidelands Avenue to
Highland Avenue.
10. Thirtieth Street from Hoover Avenue to Highland
Avenue.
11. Cleveland Avenue from Civic Center Drive to Twenty-
fourth Street.
12. Transportation Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to
Thirtieth Street.
13. National City Boulevard from Division Street to
Southern City Limit.
14. "D" Avenue from Sixteenth Street to Thirtieth
Street.
15. Highland Avenue from Delta Street to Division
Street.
16. Highland Avenue from Eighteenth Street to Thirtieth
Street.
17. "L" Avenue from Eighteenth Street to Twenty-fourth
Street.
18. Euclid Avenue from Northern City Limit to Sixteenth
Street.
19. Harbison Avenue from Eighth Street to Plaza
Boulevard.
20. Main Street from Northern City Limit to National
City Boulevard.
21. Quay Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to Thirtieth
Street.
22. Newell Street from Eighteenth Street to Southern
City Limit.
23. Roosevelt Avenue from Main Street to Eighth Street.
24. Tidelands Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to
Thirtieth Street.
25. Valley Road from South Bay Freeway to Southern City
Limit.
26. Wilson Avenue from Civic Center Drive to Eighteenth
Street.
D. Forty miles per hour is declared and established as the
prima facie speed limit on the following streets:
1. Fourth Street from Palm Avenue to Euclid Avenue.
2. Thirtieth Street from Highland Avenue to Edgemere
Avenue.
3. Sweetwater Road from Edgemere Avenue to Euclid
Avenue.
4. Tidelands Avenue from Civic Center Drive to Twenty-
fourth Street.
5. Hoover Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to Thirtieth
Street.
6. Palm Avenue from Northern City Limit to Division
Street.
7. Paradise Valley Road from Eighth Street to Eastern
City Limit.
8. Plaza Bonita Boulevard from Sweetwater Road to
Southern City Limit.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 13th day of September, 1988.

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on 9-6-88
and on 9-13-88
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1960 of the City of National City, passed
and adopted by the Council of said City on 9-13-88
