AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS OF
REAL PROPERTY PURSUANT ¶[O THE
LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY.
(ZC-3-86)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government
Code of the State of California, proceedings were duly initiated for the
rezoning of the parcels of real property on the north side of Eighth
Street, west of Harbison Avenue and approximately 120 feet east of Pleasant
Lane, hereinafter described; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to legal notice, hearings were held by the
Planning Commission of National City and also by the City Council of
National City, and all persons interested were given the opportunity to
appeal and be heard before said Planning Commission and City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of National City has regularly
and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such
rezoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council found that on the basis of the Initial
Study (IS-86-32) and any comments received that there is no substantial
evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the environment
and adopted a proposed Negative Declaration which addresses said rezoning;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the rezoning consistent with and
necessary to implement the General Plan:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City,
California does ordain as follows:
Section 1. A11 protests, if any, against said rezoning and said
amendment to the General Plan, and each of them be and hereby are denied
and overruled.
Section 2. That all the below described real property is hereby
rezoned as follows:
from CL (Limited Commercial) to CL-PD (Limited Commercial, Planned
Development) on approximately 0.93 acre of property on the north
side of Eighth Street, west of Harbison Avenue and approximately
120 feet east of Pleasant Lane, as more fully described in the
legal description attached and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A".
Section 3. That a Notice of Determination shall be filed indicating
that the rezoning will not have a significant effect on the environment.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of Octo86.

Legal Description:
Lots 7, 8 9, 10, 11, and 12 of block 1 in Map No. 2305 Paradise Knolls, said
map recorded in the County Recorder's Office of the County of San Diego,
State of California on February 28th, 1946.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of National City, California,
October 14, 1986
