AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR,
THE CITY COUNCIL, AND OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS
OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of National City as
follows:
Section 1. That the base monthly compensation for the City
Council is hereby fixed at Five Hundred Twenty -Five Dollars ($525) per
month, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 36516 and 36516.5 of the
California Government Code.
Section 2. That the base monthly salary of the Mayor is hereby
fixed at $1,930 per month, pursuant to the provisions of Section 36516.1 of
the Government Code.
Section 3. That the base monthly salary for the Chairman and each
member of the Community Development Commission is fixed at Five Hundred
Twenty -Five Dollars ($525) per month, pursuant to the provisions of Section
34130 of the Health and Safety Code, and the salary for the Chairman and
each member shall hereafter be the same as that paid each member of the
City Council of the City of National City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1986.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was not finally adopted
until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on 11 /25/86

I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1898 of the City of National City, passed
and adopted by the Council of said City on 12/.2/86
