AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY PURSUANT TO THE LAND USE CODE
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
(GP-3-85/ZC-1-85 and A-1-85/ZC-2-85)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government
Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those
parcels of real property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of the
General Plan and Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by
the City Planning Commission of National City and also by the City Council of
National City, and all persons interested were given the opportunity to appear
and be heard before said Planning Commission and City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has
regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended
such rezoning and such amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City,
California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said rezoning and said
amendments to the General Plan and the Land Use Code, and each of them be
and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real property is hereby
rezoned as follows:
From CL (Limited Commercial) to RS-2 (Residential, Single Family
Small Lot) on .38 acres of property located at the northwest
corner of Harbison Avenue and Division Street as more fully des-
cribed in the legal description attached and made a part hereof
as Exhibit "A" — Case No. ZC-1-85.
The establishment of OS (Open Space) zoning on approximately 46
acres known as the "Lower Sweetwater Reorganization" as more
fully described in the legal description attached and made a
part hereof as Exhibit "B" - Case File No. ZC-2-85.
