ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO THE LAND USE CODE
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY APPLYING THE
MOTEL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (MPD) COMBINING
ZONE TO VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN NATIONAL CITY
(Case File No. ZC-3-83)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated
for the rezoning of those parcels of real property hereinafter
described, and for the amendment of the Land Use Code of the
City of National City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant tbdue and legal notice, hearings
were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also
by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested
were given an opportunity to appear and be heard before said
Planning Commission and said City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City
has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report
and has recommended such rezoning and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National
City, California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: All protests, if any, against said rezoning
and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each of them,
be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2: That all the below described real property
is by this Ordinance rezoned to add the Motel Planned Devel-
opment (MPD) overlay zone:
Plaza Boulevard West of I-805
Those portions of land in Quarter Sections 129 and 132 per
Map No. 166 in the City of National City, County of San Diego,
State of California recorded in the County Recorder's Office
of said County on May 11, 1869, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the west right-of-way line
of 1-805 and the north line of 80 acre Lot 2 in said
Quarter Section 129; thence, westerly along said north
line to an intersection with the southerly extension
of the east line of Parcel "D" per Parcel Map No. 3114;
thence, northerly various courses and distances lines
of Parcels "D", "C", "B" and "A" to 'the northwest corner

387/383, d.d. 6/12/06 in said County; thence, southeasterly
along the east line of said Lowry's land to an intersection
with the centerline of Road Survey 558; thence, south-
westerly, westerly and northwesterly to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 147.42 feet to the east
line of Lot 5 per Map 1187 National City Little Farm
Addition recorded with said County on 11 June 1909;
