HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1983-1793 AMENDING TITLE 11 (VEHICLES & TRAFFIC) ADDING SECTION 11.32.101 PROVIDING ANGLE PARKING ZONES WITHIN NATIONAL CITYORDINANCE NO. 1793 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 11 (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC) OF THE NATIONAL CITY MUNICI- PAL CODE, ADDING SECTION 11.32.101 PROVIDING FOR ANGLE PARKING ZONES WITHIN NATIO- NAL CITY WHEREAS, Section 22503 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California authorizes local authorities to permit angle parking by the adoption of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, from time to time it may be found by the City Council to be in the best interest of the public to designate specific areas on public roadways for anal a parking. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Natio- nal City, California, that Title 11 (Vehicles and Traffic) of the National City Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition of Section 11.32.101 to read: 11.32.101 Angle Parking Zones. The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to place or cause to be placed pavement markings and signs designating angle park- ing zones when any resolution of this City designates such a zone on any street or portion of any street within the City. When such signs and pavement markings are in place all vehicles shall be parked only in such designated stalls. PASSED AND ADOPTED this /7 day of ATTEST: 1983.
