HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1983-1802 AMENDING THE FLOODWAY COMBINING ZONE BOUNDARIESORDINANCE NO. 1802 AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO THE LAND USE CODE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AMENDING THE FLOODWAY COMBINING ZONE BOUNDARIES ON VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY (CASE FILE NO. ZC-1-83) WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of the Land Use Code of the City of National City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and said City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Councilits report and has recommended such rezoning and such amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled. SECTION 2. That all the below described real property being located at 3221, 3255 and a portion of 3303 National City Boulevard is by this ordinance rezoned from ML to ML FF-1: All that portion of the west half of 10 acre lot 1 in Quarter Section 151 of Rancho de la Nacion in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California according to Map thereof No. 166 filed in the Office of the Recorder of said County 11 May 1869. EXCEPTING THEREFROM: the westerly 40 feet thereof. And also, EXCEPTING THEREFROM: That portion north of a straight line described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west boundary line of said Quarter Section 151 a distance of 90 feet measured along said west boundary line from the northwest corner of said Quarter Section; thence, northeasterly to the northeast corner of the west half of said 10 acre lot 1. SECTION 3. That all the below described real property being located at 2124 and 2101 Harding and a portion of 401 West 24th Street is by this ordinance rezoned from ML-RD-FF1 to ML-RD: All that portion in Lot 14 per Map 8038 in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California recorded in the Recorders Office of said County on 7 November 1974, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot 14; thence, northerly along the west boundary line of said lot a distance of 106 feet thence, north 720 18' 11" east a distance of 51 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence north 72D 18' 11" east a distance of 222 feet; thence north 17° 46' 07" west a distance of 130 feet; thence north 72°18'11" east a distance of 82 feet; thence north 17 46'07" west a distance of 333 feet; thence south 7/3 18'11" west a distance of 200 feet; thence, southwesterly along a straight line to an intersection with another straight line parallel to the west boundary line of said lot 14; thence, southerly along said parallel line a distance of 251 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 4. That all the below described real property being located at 234 and 254 West 31st Street is by this ordinance rezoned from RT to RT, FF1: All those portions of Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 in Parcel Map No. 10843 in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County, 31 December 1980, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the southeast corner of said Parcel 2; thence northerly a distance of 120 feet along the east boundary line of said Parcel 2; thence south 250 38' 28" west a distance of approximately 277.3 feet to the south boundary line of Parcel 1; thence a distance of 250 feet easterly along the south boundaries of Parcels 1 and 2 to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 5. That a portion of the below described real property being located at 3200 Highland Avenue is by this ordinance rezoned from ML to ML, FF1: All that portion of the westerly half of the easterly half of 10 acre lot 9 in Quarter Section 152 of Rancho de la Nacion in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 166 filed in the Office of the Recorder of said County 11 May 1869, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Quarter Section 152; thence westerly along the south boundary line of said Quarter Section 152, a distance of approximately 330 feet to the southeast corner of said westerly half the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence northerly along the east boundary line of said Quarter Section a distance of 110 feet; thence, southwesterly along a straight line to an intersection with a line parallel to the east boundary line of said Quarter Section and a distance of 50 feet from the south boundary line of said Quarter Section; thence southerly along said described line a distance of 50 feet to the south boundary line of said Quarter Section; thence easterly along the south boundary line of said Quarter Section a distance of 130 feet to the southeast corner of said westerly half, the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of August, 1983.
