ORDINANCE NO. 1775
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7 OF
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, TO ALLOW CERTAIN
REFUSE CONTAINERS ON THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of National City, California, amending Ordinance No. 7 and
Section 10.50.010 of the National City Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding another paragraph to read as follows:
"Large commercial 3-cubic yard or larger refuse
containers may be placed on the city -owned public right-of-way
by the franchised trash disposal agency of the City of National
City. The container shall: be placed no more than six inches
from the curb; be adequately marked with reflectors so as
not to be a hazard to traffic; be maintained in a clean and
safe condition; and be placed to serve a designated site for
not longer than one week except where given a time extension
by the Director of Public Works. These containers shall not,
by time extension or otherwise, be placed at a site for a
time period equal to four weeks or for more than four separate
occasions within a twelve-month period."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was not finally adopted
until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on May 18, 1982
and on May 25, 1982
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1775 of the City of National City, passed
and adopted by the Council of said City on May 25, 1982
