AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(Rezone those specific properties located
on the southside of 17th Street, addressed
1902 through 1938 inclusive, from residential
multiple -family, density 15, to residential,
multiple -family, density 30. (ZC-4-80)
WHEREAS, pursuant to th.e terms and provisions of
the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly
initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real pro-
perty hereinafter described, and for the amendment of the
Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hear-
ings were held by the City Planning Commission of said City
and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons
interested were given opportunity to appear and be heard
before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of the, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real pro-
perty is by this Ordinance rezoned to rezone those specific
properties located on the south side of 17th Street, addressed
1902 through 1938 inclusive, from residential, multiple -family,
density 15, to residential, multiple -family density 30. (ZC-4-80).
Portion San Diego County Assessor's Plat Map 561-14
That portion of the southeast 1/4 of the northeast
1/4 of th.e west 1/2 of 80 acre Lot 1 of Quarter
Section 128, Rancho de la Nacion, as shown on Map
166 by Morrill, filed May 11, 1869, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in th.e westerly line of Freeway
11-SD-805, said point also being the intersection
of the southerly line of th.e northerly 170.28 feet
and said westerly Freeway line, the point of begin-
ning, thence westerly along the said southerly line
of the said 170.28 feet, 175 feet to an angle point;
thence northerly, parallel with the easterly line of
aforsaid west 1/2, to an intersection with the south-
erly line of th.e northerly 105.0 feet; thence westerly
along said southerly line to an intersection with the
westerly line of aforsaid southeast 1/4; thence northerly
along said westerly line of an intersection with the
southerly line of the northerly 30 feet of aforsaid south
east 1/4, and also the southerly line of 12th street;
thence easterly along said southerly line of 12th street
to the westerly line of said Freeway 11-SD-805; thence
southerly along said westerly line of said Freeway to
the point of beginning.

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on August 18? 1981

I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
